- Join this intrepid group from the Wanneroo Wanderers 4WD Club as they continue their journey through the Woodlines of the Western Australian Goldfields after completing the infamous Holland Track. They spend 4-5 days exploring the many Rocks once used to collect and harvest much needed water to help keep the Steam Locos going which were used to open up and establish the Goldfields.

As usual mate really enjoyed and appreciated. Always looking forward to the next one. Thanks again.
Glad to hear it
Thanks again Steve, for an entertaining informative video. Good to see people getting out and about; enjoying our Great Country. 🥰🤠
Thanks Steve for another great adventure! See you in the next one :)
Woo hoo thank goodness another video well done Steve.
Glad i was able to brighten up your day...
Thanks Steve for another awesome video of our great country 👍🇦🇺
Fantastic scenery and well captured Steve. Looked like a great trip and location. Thanks.
Thanks 👍
Watching from the confines of a congested Asian city the space and views makes me so envious. Thanks as usual😊.
I did a good job pinstriping my Patrol back in the 90's travelling on that woodline.
I did the same thing on this trip…gotta get out the ol’ Cut n Polish! 😂
Hi Steve,
Looks like a great little trip and some excellent filming!
Glad you enjoyed it
I sub’d for the bike content but I like your 4x4 adventures too.
You certainly put some effort into your productions and it shows. 🤗
Thanks for the sub!
Thanks Steve, another good set of videos that highlight the diversity of W.A.'s interior... we've travelled that bit of country many times during both wet and dry times, it's always great to see another perspective... Stay safe out there. Cheers.
Thoroughly interesting video Steve. Having worked in a timber mill before I loved the old sleepers.
Oh how I love the country out there.....have spent a lot of time travelling there. Thank you so much for taking us with you again
Great videos Steve. How lucky are we to be able to travel Australia as we do. Given the quality of your productions I am very surprised you don't have a far greater audience.
Many thanks! "...I am surprised you don't have a far greater audience". Don't have an answer for you John. Maybe if I had blue eyes, were 40 years younger and a pair of t*** I'd have a larger audience lol. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for a great video. The dry Salt lake and stones for water diversion were really interesting. Clocks just gone back in the UK, so this is a magical drop of sunshine!!
Hi Paul, glad you enjoyed the vid…thanks for watching.
Enjoyed this series looking forward to the next one 👍
Watch this space...😀
Just driven through this area. Baladjie Rock up past Mt Jackson then down to Coolgardie via Ora Banda. Down Victoria Rock Rd to Norseman-Hyden and back to Perth. Great trip. Great bush camps along with Baladjie. Flies drove me up the wall mind you.
Awesome scenery and thanks for sharing Steve!
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi Steve , yet again another great video. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Hi Steve. I have just finished watching all your posts, except those about push bikes. Great watch. Did not know what adventure bikes were. Son-in-law and family recently moved down from Sydney to Vic since retiring after 34 yrs in the Navy. He has upgraded his adventure bike from a 400 Suzuki used for commuting in Sydney to a Triumph 900 Tiger to do the crazy things in your videos. I won’t be on the other side.
Some wonderful images in this video Steve, particularly those rocks used to channel water
Very different type of camping here in Canada. I have a 30ft 5th wheel camper with a full bathroom with shower and a queen size bed with a 40 inch big screen TV, generator propane for heat and air conditioning I pull it with a 1972 Chev quad cab 1 ton dully with a Cummins 12V diesel. I do go off-road with it but nothing like what you do. I’m looking forward to whatever video you put out next but I am hoping it a motorcycle adventure 🍻
A lot of Club Members also do a lot of caravanning but occasionally they like to rough it and go to some of the more difficult places to visit. Watch this space for next vid...😀
Great stuff Steve. Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure!
Great video Steve! Keep em coming! 🍺🍺
Thanks, will do!
Beautiful country mate, ur drone views are always spectacular gives a different perspective to a journey doesn’t it. Stay safe
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi mate, just got onto your videos a couple of months back. I love the bikes and after 25 years of not having one I got the one IalwYs wanted, second hand bmw r1200GS, I love it. I live in Tasmania now but come from Perth west Australia so as I am getting on (69) I am planning a trip around Australia and I do hope I catch up with you somewhere. I love you videos mate and hope to see heaps more.
Tasmania is Adv Rider utopia…stunning scenery, great roads and tracks. Glad you enjoy the Channel content. The R1200 is an ideal bike for Oz touring. Enjoy the journey.
lots less breaking / getting stuck on this leg. good travels
Very true! A lot less rainfall out that part. It doesn't take much when you start heading inland when rainfall decreases quickly.
Thanks
You're welcome.😀
Another top video.. 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
thank you for another great video
Thanks for watching! 😊
Another interesting video Steve. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
@@mongreldogproductions I remember as a kid seeing the Leyland brothers visit wave rock in WA. Looked like the same sort of rock you were at ?
@@peterscoles1063 there are a number of rocks that have that similar appearance dotted around the area….wave rock is the most pronounced. 😀
A place I’ve always wanted to see in person. I’m planning it now. New vehicle being set up now. 👌
@@peterscoles1063 See you on the other side...
always puts a smile on my face watching your videos, thnx a bunch mate...
Glad you enjoy the Channel content...thanks for watching.
Great adventure Steve your historical commentary really connects us with your journey. In the last video you all did a lot of tugging on each other in the mud. Do you have kinetic ropes available? Yankum ropes is a brand here in the US you should try one. Much more effective than a tow strap. Watch a sand extraction on Matt’s off road recovery to see it in action Thanks again
We have the kinetic energy ropes here…they are the first thing we grab when stuck. Most are called ‘snatch straps’ here in Oz. Thanks for watching.
Matt treats his employees like garbage
I lived in the Kimberly & Pilbara most of my life, I'd go bush just to cook dinner in me camp oven, any excuse to hit the tracks.
You can eat pretty well when out there...you dont have to rough it! Thanks for watching. 😀
You ever find yourself over Dubbo way Steve,, give me a yell,, I’ll show you a magical place to camp,, exemplary show as usual
Hi Geoff, I dont get out that way often but I'll keep it in mind. Glad you enjoyed the vid.
Watching from the pilbara which has been home for around 50 years now ,Enjoyed this trip and all the others you have done , thanks for the entertainment. have you got your motor bike back yet ?
3 week delay for the Paralever Torque Rod ex Germany. Should be back in the game pretty soon.
Thanks for showing the area. I have that trip programmed into my Hema. I will be spending an extra night at Kockerbin Rock on the way home. A little bit of information about Burra Rock. Apparently there is also a cave there that the local Aboriginal people used as a dedicated birthing location.
I did not know that about Burra Rock. We did travel thru some particular Reserve that had significance but i lost track as to where that was. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Oh loved the video but not long enough😢looks like you ate pretty good tucker no can food😂can't wait for the next adventure
I do enjoy the luxury of 4WDriving...soft mattress, good food, cold beer and great fellowship. Life is good. 😀
Quality again Steve,Like you Steve my Father was in the army.He joined from the British army and served with 104 SIG in Vietnam. He came from Scotland and said that he loved the Aussie bush and the jungle.Which he introduced both to me.Great videos and pointing out little bits of info about the history.
Good evening again Steve, how do you get that little yellow line to run along your map, and your drone videos within your videos are really incredible, they go out and about everywhere you want them to go, your drone skills are really impressive, and thank you for your videos, you sure get around in different ways. Mick
Hi Mick, The yellow line is achieved using a free App called Relive. Link is here;
www.relive.cc/?hl=en
I download the Relive footage and i then use that and modify it during the Editing part of the vid production. I'm glad you enjoy the Channel content. A lot of work and effort goes into producing the vids...ask any 'Creator' and they will tell you the same thing. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
@mongreldogproductions That's ok Steve, I just wonder if you have a wife, does she ever get to see you
@@mickkostiw589 Yes I do...and she is a Keeper. After being home for a couple of weeks she reminds me that it is time to go away again. I think deep down I piss her off by being home too long lol. 😂😂😂
Good drone work. Is that new? The Kalgoorlie goldfields have a lot of interesting history. When I was a kid my dad always got his fuel from "old Mr Priors" garage. He wanted to support the fellow. He just had one bowser out the front. It would either be a museum or be domolished by now I guess. I remember meeting him many times.
Hi Michael, the drone is not new...had it for some years now. It does give a different perspective to the view sometimes. Hope you enjoyed your trip down Memory Lane. Thanks for watching.
thanks again for a graet vid steve hows the bike faring? best regards tim
Waiting for the replacement Paralever Torque Rod ex Germany…another couple of weeks.
Steve, did you send up the drone to find the road/track to Banks Rock? 👍🏴
We have done in the past but not on this occasion. We just back tracked and used some of our Nav AIDS to find the right track.
Was the big gold fish still in the main dam at cave hill? Pretty sad that it’s in there really but something a bit different in the middle of the bush
I didn’t see a goldfish and none of the rest of our group mentioned it…
Always love your drone footage... I'm sure an episode just of your drone videos, from over the years, would be a huge hit.

Steve, your Sir name, you probably have been asked lots of times, I hope I am not annoying you by asking as well, are you desended from that English man to, because a lady we know married such a man as well here in Adelaide, but sadly he passed away just after we got to know him. Mick
Hi Mick, long story but I am a first-generation Australian born to Dutch migrants. They arrived in 1952. I was born in 57. Had an uncle and aunt (and cousins) who lived in Adelaide but a different surname.
@mongreldogproductions OK sorry, looks like there are many people with our kinds of identical Sir names, mine to, exactly, Christian name and Sir name identical exactly, there's So many of me, how do the authorities know whose who, thank you for your reply on this, because at the time of asking I had forgotten there were So many people with the exactly spelling of their name like mine, I hope you and your family are all still well, and are you still doing videos, sorry I am lots behind, not that well lately, thank you again very very much. Mick
wouldn't you rather be out there on a motorcycle?
The bike is fun but travelling in a vehicle provides more creature comforts. Both provide a great lifestyle. Food is better quality in the 4WD. 😂😂
