    I think if this sport was introduced in the United States, it would catch on very quickly

      John Mirabella ya I think if a few other countries took it up in a few years there could be some sort of "world cup" would make it much more entertaining

    yes international rules thank you im a huge gaelic and afl fan . i actually dont like all the marking in afl i prefer the continues play but a mix between the two of them is great

      +pieter985 I don't like it as a game,but i support the concept because it gives irish gaelic footballers a chance to represent their country where other wise they wouldn't and the same for the Australians.

      Yes but isnt the distance between them a problem? because the aussies were clearly jet lagged and they couldnt prevent the irish from scoring goals.

      +pieter985 One game is a waste of time they need 2 games if they are travelling that distance.However both games are similar and both games are unique to their countries,so there is only one international outlet.Yes ireland could be play england in pure gaelic football,but they(englandy would be beaten by about 50 points all the time the same goes for america even if half the teams were expats.The same for australia v png or nz.
      Our team had nine allstars theres had the full deck of all australians yet we still beat them so fjet lag maybe a factor..Mind you it wasn't a day the irish were going to lose.Irish teams on symbolical occasions usually don't lose.This was the 95th anniversary of bloody sunday which was a massacre that took place in croke park.

    That mark rule is so annoying to me...at least in this format. Its exciting under Aussie rules, because of the jumping...but under this format, the ball is too easy to kick pass, nobody jumps, and the pace of the game gets interrupted all the time. They should increase the distance required for the ball to travel in order to get a mark.

      mrAlepedroza Actually the mark has been introduced to gaelic football this year,but its entirely different .it involves a kick from the goalkeeper to beyond the 45m line and either a free kick or play on.Mostly they play on so it does not really interfere with the pace of the game.

      That mark rule is stupid. AFL and Gaelic Football need to get rid of that rule.

      @@irishlongswordboland3114Gaelic Football does not need the mark rule.

    I really do not like the mark rule. I really think the game would be more exciting to watch if you didn’t have the mark rule.

      there's no mark in gaelic football

      If they got rid of the mark rule and make the ball over the crossbar only worth 2 points then it would be the best damn sport ever created

  • @GabrielNavarro-bo7st
    @GabrielNavarro-bo7st ปีที่แล้ว

    Should be only 2 points over the crossbar. That would balance the scoring system.
