Talk about disrespect! English football fans need to look in the mirror. There have been plenty of English cricket players who have been stood down over the years. 1. Ben Stokes - suspended for a brawl outside a nightclub in 2017. 2. Alex Hales - banned for recreational drug use in 2019. 3. Michael Atherton - banned for ball-tampering in 1994. 4. Marcus Trescothick - banned for dissent in 2008. 5. Kevin Pietersen - banned for sending derogatory text messages about his teammates in 2012. 6. Andrew Flintoff - banned for excessive drinking during a team curfew in 2007. Please note: No 3 ball tampering!!! If you want to sledge, do it your own backyard!!
Now there's a typically uninformed Pommy who knows sfa about their own history. They did not send "ALL" their convicts and modern day Australia is a long way removed from what you seem to know. And btw, thanks to your forefathers for sending those of us with lineage to this paradise.
The disrespect from England is pitiful, AND typical. Aussies have won more matches and more series. If you can’t win fairly, grow up and learn how to play (letting the umpires guide the game). Banter is brilliant. But where does banter end and personal aggression start? Occasionally, a sledge might be funny but, all too often, it is intended to intimidate or upset the mindset of the player. Why? Players who sledge are just cowards. I played rugby for many years and if you want to sledge someone, you said it face to face - and took the consequences later in the match when the other bloke caught you.
"Whinging?" Right. I won't mention Kim Hughes, Bob Hawke, Steve Smith and lil' davey warner all publicly bawling and crying their eyes for the world to see 🤣😂🤣
When you see a group of dimwitted standing with their shoes in hand you know that respect in cricket has flown out of the window. When you see remarks like "Yeah, but whatbout..." you know that (instead of looking at one's OWN behaviour) people rather childishly point at the behaviour of "the others". A person is only in command of the respect that he gives out to others himself. A grown up person gives respect whatever he receives. A toddler whines about escalation and keeps bringing up old issues instead of de-escalating.
Calm the farm mate, banter has existed between us and the Poms forever. They give it and we return fire. Good notch to Archer's career. Concussed the best batsman since Bradman.
That's worth at least 500 moral wickets according to the ECB
Totally intentional to hit and or maim Steve Smith. Didn't even come down the wicket to check on his well being. Just classless!
I remember archer joking around with mid-off while Steve Smith lay on the pitch. After that. No time for the guy.
Main reason for this rivalary because of same language called english🤣😂😂

Same old convicts always cheating.
The English sent all their convicts to penal servitude in Australia, and all the convicts sang, "Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner"!
Yeah, the weathers terrible in Aus,
@@whatsupshittafabraans1926The weather is warm, and the beer frosty
Now there's a typically uninformed Pommy who knows sfa about their own history. They did not send "ALL" their convicts and modern day Australia is a long way removed from what you seem to know. And btw, thanks to your forefathers for sending those of us with lineage to this paradise.
@@flamingfrancis Buddy I'm Australian born and bred, it was tongue in cheek
We know the history fella.
Typical bad sportsmanship by England. Same story in virtually all sports - cricket, rugby, soccer, F1, etc etc etc .......
Carey booed for doing something Bairstow tried in the previous innings………what a bunch of hypocrites.
The fans, please don't turn cricket into football hooligans. Cricket is such a peaceful game
The disrespect from England is pitiful, AND typical. Aussies have won more matches and more series. If you can’t win fairly, grow up and learn how to play (letting the umpires guide the game). Umpires rule, Aussies don’t cheat, learn the rules England!!! Did we change the rules to our advantage?! NO. Hence….. stop the foul commentary!!!!
As if you haven't spoken enough shit to us you can give it but can't take it back 🏴🤜🇦🇺😭
Thanks mmm, given your name, maybe the language shows, like the English cricket fan, it’s just a front!! JB was a dick!! But….let’s blame someone else!!!
…and before you reply to the ‘front’ reference, isn’t the members at Lords supposedly the epitome, if not the somewhat elite in cricket supporter the respectful ally to all who pass its corridor’s?? What a disgrace!!! But shout out for them all you like, I’ll save my money thanks and avoid Lords at all costs!!!
@@superart-music2593 lol you are very funny I understand I'd also dodge lords I'm not a fan of the mega posh but that comes with this game, the point is that you seem to be very good at sledging though cry at it coming back to you.
It’s about respect!!!! You have lost that. Respect the rules!! Respect the umpires decision, respect the opposition playing to the rules and winning!!! Unlike English football where there is no respect from player to referee nor supporter to supporter, I think cricket is greater than that. It appears we differ on this one! Good luck with the rest of the WC. I do hope you make it through to the Knick out stages…..AFG are a touch stronger though!
If this happens in Virat Kohli captaincy, then all Australians will suffer a nightmare 😂😂

Drunk football chants is not cricket
Abuse is never respectful. And the stuff that both teams have dished out over the years is abuse, doesn’t matter that it’s on a sporting venue, if it happened off it, it would get you in front of the majestrate.
Australian capt tells the opposition number 11 to "get ready for a broken arm" The umpire can hear it perfectly well and does nothing.. pathetic.
Never understand why grown up supporters (predominantly male) feel the need to chant swear words as a group when there are younger children in attendance.
Completely agree. I think it makes them feel tough., but ultimately shows their weakness. Sad little men, probably mostly accountants and bankers with a wife and 2 kids.

Petersons not even English, neither is Stokes. Poms can't find players from their own cuntry to represent them. A bit like their soccer team....

Saying look out for a broken arm to Jimmy Anderson? He does remember he’s got to face him, possibly the best bowler in the world.
Anderson was never physically threatening though. Not quick enough. Sublime line, length and swing compensates nicely though.

Back and forth and its all good fun between two allies who have fought wars together and who share much the same ancestry. It has nothing to do with being a grown up or not, they call us convicts and we call them soap dodgers. No real harm done, maybe you need to grow up or man up and understand a bit of harmless banter when you hear it.
@@iankearns774 No problem with that banter. I do have a problem however with braindead people on the stands who take off their shoes and insult other people. That is way beyond "banter".
