I like the fact that she doesn't only give you the recipe but adds the side story of what's going on! She even tells you what to expect when doing each step and her own "bloopers". That's really important; cooks think we are all here handy and talented by nature and we end up making mistakes that could've been avoided if they just told us what to expect! Thank you very much sister Ayşe!
I love Turkish food. My aunt and her family were Greeks from Turkey and she used to cook us many of those dishes. I still remember the flavors. R.I.P aunt Anastasia😢. Congrats for the beautiful recipes.Greetings from Greece
can I say that it is one of the best cooking videos I've seen. Apart the recipe itself (which is great), the lady's voice is very gentle, her movements too, she shows respect for the food and her viewers, she adds a little bit of her religion's traditions - a great video! Thx for sharing!
You are right. Respect for the food is everything. I like that this lady says turning with a flat plate is not easy, and shows how the potato cake nearly fell. I am making this for my family tonight, maybe I add a fried egg on top to serve.
I like Turkish dramas as well. This culture pull me towards the tradition if turkey. Liked the recipes.. Keep it up n keep sharing more vegetarian food recipes. Thanks. 😍
Too good and you've explained it very nicely. We tried it and it turned out really nice. My family, especially my 4 year old loved it. The plus point was the blooper at the end, It helped me be extra careful while flipping the Kunafa, it was a bit tricky. Thank you!
I made this for my family and they absolutely loved it! I am so happy I found your channel. Your voice is so calm and I feel confident going step by step. Bless you and your family🙏
I will try this! With three sons, I’m always looking for hearty recipes, Think I’ll add garlic powder and rosemary. Very lovely presentation. I gasped when you almost lost the kunafa! Blessings from Kentucky, USA.
Thank you for this beautiful recipe. I am an American woman who loves to cook and am pretty proficient with food from southern US where I was born and raised, west coast (where I live now) and other regional US foods, some Indian food, other Asian foods, French, Italian, and Mexican food. I have really enjoyed the middle eastern food I have eaten but have no real experience cooking it. I will try this amazing looking dish soon and share it with friends and family. Blessings on you.
I made a smaller version of this with purple potatoes (2 potatoes only) and skipped out on the vermicelli and egg. I added corn starch instead and followed the rest of the recipe - it's delicious! I only made a smaller version to test it and see if I could do it again and I certainly will with the full recipe now! Thank you so much for sharing your Turkish food recipes. I absolutely love everything!
How nice you explain everything!! I will try the potatoes that way♥️ loved your accent!! I’m from Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷 Residing in California. God bless you 🌺
U can even use the left over potatoes for making bread cutlets as a filling in bread and then coat it with breadcrumbs..it tastes good 😊 Love from India

I saw this in my recommended videos while watching a Spanish tortilla recipe. I must say I'm very glad that I saw this, it is superior in both taste and ease of making than the Spanish tortilla. I'm going to check out more of your recipes, thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your cooking videos. My husband is from Turkey and I am American. I’m learning from your videos and cook your recipes often and both my husband and kids love them. 🥰
Looks very tempting. I am going to make for my family. I love Turkish cuisine. On both my Trips to Turkey, I enjoyed the food, beautiful historical sights and the beauty of the villages. ☕️
Beautiful recipe! For the outer coating I suggest a raw, hard potato grated at the last minute and sprinkled in like the vermicelli. I have a potato galette recipe with a raw unpeeled purple potato grated at the last minute and sprinkled into the hot pan for the outer layer. It makes a striking effect and adds a beautiful layer of flavour.
I just made this recipe. I used ricotta, parmiggiano and aged cheddar for the filling. I also added some chives along with the seasoning you recommend. It turned out wonderful. Thank you. ❤🇨🇦🇮🇪
You're the first Turkish woman I've heard speaking English in my entire life. I understand there could be others 😂 but you really are my first. Very simple recipe and great way to explain. Thanks for sharing.
It looks delicious and I agree that adding fresh herbs like coriander and/or parsley and caramelized onions in the potato mix , even small cubes of red peppers would add a new twist to the recipe ... Bravo ! It truly is an inspiring, mouth watering recipe !
Tried this recipe for iftaar today and it was super delish and easy to prepare..everyone in my family enjoyed it..thank you so much for this original recipe
I am enjoying learning about the Turkish way of cooking. I think it is an easy way to cook. Also inexpensive to feed your children and have good tasting food.
I watch a lot of cooking videos and often think of adding different spices or veg to change things up, now I first make it their way to see if it needed additions in the first place, so let me know if you tried it with onion and was it good.

Egg is vegetarian??🙄
Is it still vegetarian when you add cheese and eggs on it? Is it not eggs and cheese are bi-products of animals?🤔
Most turkish food is not vegetarian friendly...but it is so good...especially the koftas ...there cannot be a veg version of it
