This was wonderful. What a joy, it felt like I was in a warm kitchen with grandmother. Thank you for showing us and thank you Sadiye Teyze for letting us in your kitchen!
I was so fascinated to see how a Turkish family lives! Such beautiful people! Thank you so much to you and the family that hosted you. It is so important to preserve the old ways. I still cook the way my grandmother cooked and taught me but my daughters don’t. Our recipes are being lost because nothing was written down. We learned by example, much the way you were learning here. Many blessings to the two families!
Thank you; we have so much to learn from the older generation, but we tend to forget that in our busy lives. So many traditional recipes, crafts, and crops are in danger of being lost if we don’t make the effort to learn from our elders. It’s a problem every culture faces, so I’m so glad there are people determined to preserve it. Thank you so much for making such a beautiful and important video.
Love getting a first had look into the traditional Turkish cuisine and what is even better is to see it prepared by wonderful local women like this! 🌸🌼🌺
Salaam. I'm a muslim from Singapore. Thank you for going to the traditional place to show how that wonderful family make gozleme. I love gozleme and tasted it only in Australia. I love Turkish mommy! Love your videos. Keep it coming. Love from Singapore.
Beautiful people with beautiful hearts, rich traditions, hospitality.... everything was so beautiful about this journey of yours Ayşenur. Thank you for introducing us to this part of beloved Turkey.. Love and respect from Pakistan.
I do not have enough words to tell you what an exceptional work you are doing. Keep it up and do not let the traditional recipes fade away. best of luck to you.
Thank you for bringing memories back - I am from Pakistan, lived in Turkey 40 years ago - still remember Turkish, and love I got as child from your people. Turkey is like my 2nd homeland.
Hello from the USA , thank you so much I have been wanted to know what goes in these recipe for more than 2 years thank you so much, God bless you and the wonderful family you interview.
I find so nice that someone finally translate her recipes and what they say,i follow this woman long time but i can not understand 😬 I hope you will do more videos like that.
... and the technique is so impressive. The teyze said that it preserves onions' moisture; unlike the food-processor. Wow! I never considered our mothers and grand mothers to be seasoned chefs too. 😃
I was never in Turkey yet watching this video reminds me my own grandmas, their delicious cooking from scratch. The smell of the countryside, the homestead animals, happy kids, and the simplicity of the dwelling people - all these seem so universally the same. Elinize sağlık
There's an actress of turkish origins here in Italy who reminds me a lot of a youger version of teyze 😊 Same body type and features, and same sunny laughter
I was in Turkey 20 years ago with my Turkish friend and her family. In the village I ate my first gözleme, only with Butter. Heavenly.. I don't know how many I had, but maybe 20 lol
I just loved this look into a family’s village lifestyle, their interactions, their animals, and of course their delicious food. I lived in Azerbaijan for a couple of years and was invited to a family’s home in the countryside for the weekend. Early in the morning I woke up and wandered into the kitchen, where two older women were cleaning and chopping herbs to add to lunch dishes. Though we didn’t speak each other’s language, it was very companionable to share the food prep and drink tea together. For lunch we had the most delicious homemade manti with melted butter, and I saw the dough being rolled out exactly as you show here. One of my favorite experiences ever!
Assalamu alaikum.i m from India ...this episode remembered me my childhood days with Grandma..food is may b the only universal thing that really has the power to bring everyone together.. Almighty Allah always with u ..
I love this family. They are making so much traditional turkish food. And i just love the elder womans teknic and system for the foodmaking. And most of her ingrediens are from their own farm - that’s amazing! It’s obvious that she has done it thousands of time. I wish i could’ve visit them and spend some time learning and tasting 😋 They seems like very nice people too🌺
Behtreen or Aala.....Marvellous, mouthwatering, nefis and moreish dish recipe. Outstanding presentation in natural environment. By watching this, we feel as we are sitting with our own family. ONE OF YOUR BEST VLOG. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I'm also in awe of Teyze's dough rolling skills!! Thank you for taking the time to film, edit, and share with us. These kinds of friendships and bonding time feeds the soul, literally! Hope your hand healed ok, her knives did look very sharp! :)
