I predicted this early on in the game. After some stuff part of me though I was wrong, but a small part still thought I was right. When I saw this scene, I literally jumped out of my chair and screamed "YES!" My friends who I was playing with all laughed cause two of them had already finished the game.
I know this is a super late reply, but I believe it happens if Zelos is your highest-ranked character for affection. Which is obviously hard to do since several of the other characters have a head start and since his affection starts so low to begin with. But it is really cool if you can see it.
