*Correction* Muscle does not weight more than fat! Muscle is more dense than fat…I never want to give misinformation. The overall tone of the video is these are the tips I used and currently use to naturally loose weight. Thank you for watching!
You’re correct, muscle does weigh more. If something is more dense, than it is heavier. It takes more fat to make equal pound than muscle.
You're right. 10lbs of fat takes up more room than 10lbs of muscle. Like a 10lb bag of cotton is way bigger than a 10lb bag of rice. That's why I stopped looking at the scale and started focusing on measuring myself instead. I wish more women would weight lift because increasing muscle will help to increase your metabolism and lose more body fat. You can also sculpt your arms by using light weights with high repetitions. So for those that don't want to lift heavy weights they can go that route instead. It gives you a really good burn. I personally do both. But yes I love weights especially for my legs. I also do dance workouts because I hate the treadmill. I have to fool myself by doing something fun. I just turned 51. Keep it up and drink plenty of water. Working out is showing love for your health and your body.
Great tips!! I turned 47 this year and decided it was time for me to get myself together. I became a SAHM 5 yrs ago and let myself all the way go.. NOPE ..IM DONE..Im getting my sexy back , unbigging the back annnnd going back to work.. Got me two pairs of Hokas and a pair of Onclouds and some new earpods ( cheap ones) . I am ret to go😂😂😂

I don't do cardio anymore either. I walk twice every day. I also try and stay in a caloric deficit. I also started adding a little jogging, not much and my weights are shaping my body. My clothes are getting smaller. I love watching your channel. You inspire me.❤😊

Love this video, i just turned 49 last week and have been on a serious fitness journey for last year or so. What you said about doing what works for you is so true. Set realistic goals for yourself. I workout in the morning cos no matter what the intention i cant bring myself to do it after work. Also i started lifting weights over last year and the difference in my shape even though ive only lost 7lbs is really noticeable. I still need to work on being more consistent with my eating. I will do well for 2 days then eat nonsense for 2 days then repeat!!

I tell people that you have to end your love affair with food. I now say I eat to live, not LIVE TO EAT. I agree with that Sis. Yes, I tell people alcohol plays a part as well. So I am very mindful of how much and when I drink. It is definitely a life style change.

I have been fast walking an hour at least 4-5 days a week but really didn’t see my body contour change until 3 months ago when I included weights in my workouts! Now wow I see the changes and I’m getting so many compliments. I also stopped weighing myself because as you said it can be a downer. I go by how I feel and how my clothes fit me. I’m a vegan but my problem is sweets so I do not have them around. I also reward myself not by eating a special meal but by buying myself an outfit. Great minds think alike because I also love to look great when I go to the gym and like to listen to upbeat music. I have people that inspire me like my daughter and a niece and you are also such an inspiration. I always look forward to your videos, you look fabulous 😄❤️💪🏼

Great tips! What has recently helped me was increasing my protein and lifting. I love to lift, walk and ride my bike. Find an old picture of yourself where you were the most fit and healthy. Another motivation I've used to visualize where I want to be.

Hello, tfs. I did a challenge about 10 yrs ago and when I tell you that the weights is where it’s at without the bulk is like a “chef’s kiss.” Im just now starting to get back on another journey. One problem that I had using online tutorials is how to concentrate on that particular muscle and the formation. It wasn’t until I was hands on with a trainer to get the right formation and understand. Good luck on your journey 😊
