Hey girl -- one thing I have done to help me in my weight loss journey is an "incentive outfit" -- I would visibly hang an outfit somewhere noticeable that I could not fit so that every time I wanted to give up or indulge when I shouldn't, that outfit would be staring at me -- it may be a little cruel, but it works for me and I did get in the oufit !!!
Hi Sheena! Loved the tips. I’ve lost 23lbs since January and at 58 after trying many diets I decided I was just sick and tired of hating on myself. The older I got the more I made excuses on why I didn’t want to dress nice since my gut was so big and not wanting to look at myself in pictures. I worked out but when I didn’t see results would quit. I decided I didn’t need a gym and began working out at home doing aerobic workouts and the big change was lifting weights. I had to make a major change in the way I was negatively thinking about myself. I never was a big junk food or fast food eater so cutting back on sweets and fried foods was no problem. I find that eating off smaller plates help me to keep my portions in check. I also stop eating when I feel full as my stomach is shrinking. Anyway, keep doing your thang girl friend and happy belated birthday.
Thanks for sharing so much helpful info. You got me started on Weight Watchers and I’m loving my healthier lifestyle journey. I have already reached my goal but I made the commitment to maintain. I added in swimming 1 day a week and 3 days on the treadmill. You look fabulous keep the journey and continued blessings.
Great information, even for someone like me who has been on a health journey for a while, it’s always good and inspirational to hear it over and over. That’s why I love your videos and I love to see your progress because it’s contagious 😄👍❤️
Excellent video Sheena! The no more than 3 or 4 ingredients rule is such a great idea. Even health food stores can have things with a long list of ingredients. Why? Not keeping tempting foods in the house is key. In the past I have actually picked something out of the trash to continue eating. 😂
Hey, Sheena! Thanks so much for sharing your habits for losing and maintaining your weight. You offered some really good tips and advice. One of the things that was helpful for me was joining the local YMCA. I pay a small fee each month and have access to indoor and outdoor facilities. I go on my lunch break which works out great because it keeps me out of stores spending my coins and eating unhealthy meals at fast food restaurant. It was a really great investment in “me” as you would say.
Great video, yes shein has Great workout clothes and so is five and below, I really love thi🎉video, I've lost 40lbs, and gained it all back, but I'm back on track walking twice a day, drinking my water and watching what I eat, ure looking great, keep shining ✨️
