    Really appreciate that you review the tablet's performance relative to its price range. Indeed, you don't need a $1000 device to just browse the web. Also great that you explain you bought the device yourself :)

    I will mainly use it for reading sheet music and watching netflix.
    The 11" screen is a nice sweet spot for reading sheet music as 12" tablets are a little pricey just for that task.

    The top model of the Lenovo Tab P11 is on sale at Lenovo for $229.00 that's $100.00 off list. Specs; 128GB storage and a big 6GB of Ram. At that price I purchased one for myself, sweet deal.

      I just reviewed a Chromebook that Chrome unboxed reviewed. Their trackpad was defective. So they fixed it, barely mentioned anything in their full review. Mine was defective, and I mentioned in mine that both of ours were defective so to watch out for duds. Of course that video has more dislikes. Some people look up reviews on products they just bought and get mad if negative things are said. And they dislike negative things. I try to review products I think will be a great value for people, but try to give honest recommendations. A lot of people are just trying to get people to click their affiliate links in the description, so they leave stuff out.
      All that to say, I'm trying, glad someone noticed

    This tablet looks nice too, but we bought my little nephew the Tab A7 for $170 because I trust and love Samsung devices. It really impressed me how nice it is for the price! It was even at $150 last year.
    Now imo, the A7 Lite and S7 FE seem like a bad deal, unless price goes down a lot...

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah the A7 is a great deal at $170! Not a lot of differences between that and the P11.. And $170 is such a steal! The A7 Lite is more for people who want a smaller screen. And the S7 FE won't be very good honestly either. I posted a deal a few weeks ago where the S7 Plus was down to like $429 for a day. A lot of sales will go on the S7 + and the S7 (off and on) so the only way the S7 FE will be any good, is a few months from now when it starts going on sale too! But the A7 is a nice capable device for basic tasks, and at a good price

      @AndroidDigest  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are really really close to one another.. I think the P11 with more ram, and a slightly better screen in my opinion, has some better hardware, it's more vanilla Android too. Samsung is a little more well known to do more software updates. It's a close call for sure. Price is a factor and simply which one you like, go with your gut!

    • @bluegroove777
      @bluegroove777 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AndroidDigest The RAM is very important to me. I currently have the older Fire HD 10 with only 2 GB of RAM and it's a real drag. I don't do hardcore gaming, but I do play a lot of a card game called Hearthstone (by any chance have you ever played it on one of these tablets?) and I often find I have to force close the app on the Fire HD 10 because it will slow to an unresponsive crawl after a few games. So I'm thinking either one of these bad boys will be a big upgrade, but I'm leaning towards the P11 as I think the RAM is worth a few extra bucks, plus the increased screen brightness would be sweet as I do spend a lot of time outside on the patio. Btw, thanks for the reply! You just earned yourself a sub :]

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Tab S7 is obviously better, but it costs a lot more too. I'm guessing this device, the P11, will get like one major software update. And will probably get like 2 years of security updates, maybe 3. It will still work for years and years. Apps won't stop working until like 5 years down the road. It's just about battery life and new software features.
      The Lenovo P11 is great, so is the Galaxy Tab S7. If you want a faster device, with better features, and more software supoort, sure, get the tab s7. But you can probably save like $200 by getting this, the P11 is a great value and should do a lot sure you.
      If I'm honest, if you do a lot of typing and school work, you may be better off with something like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 or the Asus Detachable CM3. The CM3 is a 10.5". Chromebook tablet. It runs Chrome OS which is better for typing and productivity, it comes with a stylus and a keyboard, etc.
      The Tab S7 will be a better tablet though, it has a better screen then the Asus, and keep in mind that the Samsung also has samsung dex, which is a way to run your tablet with a laptop interface to help with productivity.
      In short:
      The Lenovo P11 will do a good job. It's a $229 android tablet in the US and it does great. And will work for years.
      The Asus CM3 retails for about $370. It is a Chrome OS tablet. It won't really be faster then the Lenovo, or brighter on the screen, but it runs Chrome OS, it's better for productivity and comes with a keyboard.
      The best device of all is the Tab S7.. But price is a big factor. You have to see what price you find these at and see what your budget is. If you can afford it and if you find a good deal, sure, get the Tab S7. But I don't think you will be angry or upset about getting the P11. It's great. If you have specific questions feel free to ask!

      @@elenal80 I think you are trying to compare the Tab S7 to the P11 Pro. The S7 is better for sure. If they are close in price, I'd get the Tab S7. The benefit of the P11 Pro is that it comes with the keyboard if you buy the $600 model. The keyboard for the Tab S7 adds over $100 to the price.
      The P11 Pro is great and definitely good enough for most people. But the Tab S7 has better software and better updates. It's also faster. If they are close in price I'd still recommend the Tab S7

    • @AndroidDigest

      The P11 has more ram. Same speed. Brighter screen on the P11 too. Outside of that they are nearly identical. The A7 has more reliable software updates. They should get 1 to 2 updates. The P11 will probably get 1 but they are much less reliable with those. It's a very close call... P11 is also slightly bigger. I think price is one of the most important factors. I give the thinnest win ever to the P11. But again, it all depends on what prices you see out there

    • @AndroidDigest

      Only capacitive styluses, they are similar to touching the screen with your finger, they won't have extra pressure sensitivity, and apps won't be able to tell the difference between your finger and the pen. He’s already answered this question several times in the comments. Here’s the gist: they are very very close but he gives a slight nod to the Lenovo. Advantage the mentions for Samsung is better software updates. Now for my opinion:
      If you’re used to Samsung and you don’t mind all the bloatware that comes on it and the other garbage they put over the OS then flip a coin. But if you want a better android experience, like you’re if your a Pixel owner like me, then get the Lenovo.

    Can I use this as a laptop? Will I be able to play Pubg or BGMI? Can I open 10 chrome tabs at a time?

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Honestly I wouldn't recommend this as a laptop replacement. This runs Android apps, so PUBG works. I don't know bgmi but I'm assuming it's an android game and should work. But I've tried a keyboard on this and it didn't work great. The productivity mode also acts a little wonky. And with only 4gb of ram, sure you can run 10 Chrome tabs but some may have to reload.. Multitasking may be difficult.
      Honestly if you want a laptop there are other options at this price point. I'd recommend a Chromebook.. The Asus CM3 has been going on sale around $330 (I reviewed it on my channel) and the Lenovo Chromebook Duet can be bought around $200. Chrome OS tablets like these can run some Android games (maybe on lower settings but still) but they are better overall for productivity. Chrome OS tablets can do some laptop work, and around this price point I think they'd be a little better at productivity tasks. Just my take. I think this is a good tablet but wouldn't recommend trying to use it as a laptop replacement

      @@reviewsbymohitmybloggingid4241 Chrome OS is a very simple operating system. It started out just having a web browser and nothing else... But because of that, because it doesn't have 50 things going on in the background, you can normally get better performance out of a slower processor.
      Maybe 3 or so, they added support for Android apps. So yes, if you buy a Chromebook with touchscreen it can run Android apps and Android games too.
      Chromebooks also get several years of updates. Newer Chromebooks are getting 8 years of updates from the day they were launched, so you get way better software support compared to Android tablets.
      As far as Microsoft office, it can use Microsoft office online, which is a version of Microsoft office that runs through the web browser, you just go to the web site and it runs for free, though it does limit a few features.
      But honestly, Google docs is free, and I think it's better then Microsoft office in my opinion. I don't know if you've used Google drive, but you can make folders for all your documents, and then make documents inside of them, and access them online, and Google drive and docs is 100% free. And you can always convert to a Microsoft format later if you have to.
      A lot of explanation. But hopefully it helps. I reviewed the Lenovo Chromebook Duet on my channel in the past (a little lower quality video, and I tested some music too, first time really doing music) but even though the videos older with lesser quality it should give you an idea. The Asus CM3 I also recently reviewed on my channel, another chrome os detachable tablet. There's plenty of options out there. If your ever interested in diving into that world I'm happy to help. And if I knew your budget I'd be happy to make recommendations too

      Right, honestly at this point (the P11 Plus came out after I reviewed this) I think the P11 Plus is the better value. It is nearly the same price, but the P11 Plus will have better software support

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Didn't get a chance to test that. I need to start testing that on more tablets at this price! By the way, the P11 Plus is a newer version of this, if you see them for a similar price you might as well get the P11 Plus, and the M10 Plus 3rd Gen is also improved over the 2nd gen so that would also be a decent option too.

    Its good for students ?

    • @AndroidDigest
      @AndroidDigest  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It really depends on your budget. If you just need to take quick notes during class and you want to use it to read on the go then it's great. If you want to write 20 page college papers, I'd recommend getting a Chromebook. A tablet like the Lenovo Duet can be bought for $250ish in the US, and you can buy a bigger Bluetooth keyboard. But it's a desktop interface which is better for productivity.
      Android tablets like this are great for light productive work and light notes, small papers, etc. It's great for entertainment and reading.
      If you need productivity first, there are Chromebooks around $200 that will have a better keyboard and be better for long papers, or you can get a Chrome OS tablet like the Duet and buy a larger keyboard.
      Hopefully this helps! It really just depends if the student, and what they want to do with it. It's great for reading and light notes though!

      @@mrsleesanders I think both are great. This will be just as good as the Tab S6 Lite. It's just as fast, just as much RAM in the base model, this has an actual keyboard connector which is an extra bonus if you buy the accessories.
      To be honest, I'd compare prices and buy the cheapest one. Both will do great for what you want

      @@mrsleesanders if you buy the Lenovo stylus yes it supports it. I'd compare the price with the accessories between this and the S6 Lite. It's a close call. The S6 Lite may have better software support. But Lenovo will probably be a better value. But you never know, sales may bring the S6 Lite down to a great price!

    The only use i will give it is to study and take notes in my online classes
    What do u think? 👀👀
