i'm very glad he is starting to do conventions now, unfortuneately haven't had the chance to meet him yet, meeting him in person is a huge priority of mine, because for many years, his voice acting colleagues have said that he is a very private person, very private man, quite reclusive, conventions and public appearences aren't his thing, but it's been said that Peter Cullen was the main influence behind getting Frank Welker to attend conventions

Watching Saturday morning cartoons, growing up, I always wanted to discover who Frank Welker, was. I saw his name, many times. I now know, that he is as awesome, as I imagined! He is owed many thanks, and so are you FF!! 👏👍👏

Whether it's Fred Jones, Scooby-Doo, Megatron and Soundwave, Dr. Claw, The Cave of Wonders, or his many animal roles, Frank Welker has been the voice of *EVERYONE'S* childhood!
Frank Welker is the best! He voiced Garfield in the Garfield show, Tom, Jerry and McWolf in Tom and Jerry Kids and Scooby Doo and Fred Jones in various 2000s and 2010s Scooby Doo shows.
I was thoroughly convinced that Ray Stantz and the Boogeyman had the same voice actor, and this proves it! Awesome

He's the king of voice actor like Mel Blanc
That's because he was trained and Mentored by Blanc! In 1962, he was a young 15 year old kid who had idolized and grown up with Blanc. After being hired to do a local KNBC Radio Show, he finally met his idol on the set of Flintstones after Blanc stated he could no longer do the Dino Voice as his 24 year old son Noel proxied for him. Welker auditioned for a bit part in one of the Episodes that would air during S3 and got the part playing and voicing a Teenage Extra. Blanc and his Son took the Kid under their wing, trained him and taught him how to create different personas,characters and voices. Welker was also trained by Daws Bulter and Don Messick(Frank joked often that Messick was his 2nd Dad and lovingly nicknamed him "Pops" ).
Welker's Versatile abilities to voice so many characters and animals are because he was trained personally by the GOATs.

Frank Welker is one of the best ever. Up there with Mel Blanc. Personally I think he's better than Hamill in terms of vocal range.
