I believe it was Michael Ammar (could be wrong) who taught me that method which is used after he did the matrix with 4 cards, followed by 3..2..1 cards, and finally stating that if he were really good he could do it with no cards. It's a great routine, however there is just something so very graceful with the version shown here.. I can see myself spending a lot of my near future playing with 5 coins. Thanks for sharing.

Lo que no queda bien es que en el ultimo efecto cruses tanto las manos porque no queda natura ya que seria mas comodo que hicieras que la monedas biajen pero rotando las manos de lugar

How do you get the 5th coin on the table in the first place?
Sleight of hand, have your hands with index finger pointing out, that way you can grip the coin until you lay the matt flat on the surface
Start with it palmed then drop it when you rest your hands on the table.

It is really not natural to keep sliding your hands on the pad. That is not how we normally move coins
