best explanations of (several!) color changes yet. better than the russiangenius. he is too hyper and goes over and over before he finally gets to important part of the trick, then blows past it to quickly. you show the small details with great explanations and visuals that you need to make it work. thanks

What sorcery is this??? I was literally watching this video and had a deck of cards and randomly cut it to "choose my card". I swear i am not lying, i cut to the 3 of spades at the beginning of the video...

Awesome! Great tutorial! You could also put 2 red backed jokers in 2 random spots in the face up deck before you perform the effect, and when you start and spread the deck face up you “notice” the jokers and say “we don’t need these”. Up jog them, strip them out and casually turn them face down onto the table right next to the red card box so you see both backs of the jokers. Now the spectator sees the red box, the 2 red backed jokers, AND the deck with the 2 red backed cards on top. Matt Johnson has a color changing deck routine which I have and not only does the deck turn blue, he also takes the jokers he placed down on the table at the beginning of the effect and turns them blue, and finally takes the box and changes that to blue too!
