      I’m going out in about a month to Orlando to be an appointment setter, do you have any tips on the initial interaction with the homeowner? You seemed to have a successful summer!

    • @ConnorJaksik
      @ConnorJaksik  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@kidbluntt Orlando will be great! There’s a few things that helped me be successful…
      1. Commit to the position for a specific amount of time no matter what happens.
      2. Knock on more doors than anyone else
      3. Have fun with it and do your best not to care what happens
      #3 helped me the most. I tricked myself into thinking I’m just going out to meet people and to make friends. You will get a ton of rejection and this mindset turns every single door into a success. It allows you to be yourself and it keeps your morale high which makes you come across as a normal trustworthy person which will ultimately translate into more sales.

      I'm about to start at Encor Solar as an appointment setter. They pay you 200 for every app. set, and 250 for every close, is that worth it? Would I make good money, having worked the same job yourself? Cuz bro, when you said they paid you 2,500 for every sale, I shit a brick.

    Just got into the game. I did a week long blitz for home security systems and that was not my jam. Ended up having a mental health crisis because of it. Now I am a much stronger individual and I'm knocking 600 doors a week. The fields have been plucked bare of the easy wins but there are still pockets of untouched homeowners and people READY to go solar. Even scavengers can make good money by committing to spending 4-5 hours canvassing 5 days a week and following up on appointments. Walk, Knock, Inform, Schedule and let the Closers work for their money.

    Thanks for the insight! I have done door-to-door for energy contracts in the past. I always wondered: isn't there an option to create a website and some marketing and get clients that way? They could still book a sales call, but this prevents the door-to-door part, which may not be as efficient as a website.

    • @ConnorJaksik
      @ConnorJaksik  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The best way to know for sure is by trying it! I know SEO and ad cost for solar is extremely competitive which could make conversion from a website very difficult. Depends on what your short and long term goals are. A website could take years to see an ROI depending on your web skills, when there are people hustling door to door making hundreds of thousands in their first year. It's an interesting idea though, I have considered making an online lead generation company!

    You are going out of business there have been a breakthrough with the tesla coil and I can run the inveter through the mppt solar charger controller, no need for solar panels anymore believe or not is for real. Day and night how nice it is and is very easy. Soon I will begin to share the information. The tesla coil is revolutionary, matching the voltage of your inveter and the amperage you want for your mppt solar charger. The Lord reveals to me the way to do it, amazing God amen. Imagine how many more applications.

    How do you know if the lead generated by you converts into sale or not? What if the company doesn't pay you the commission for a sale? How will you know you have been cheated??

    • @ConnorJaksik

      Once a lead is submitted to the CRM it can't be changed. If you don't trust the company you work for to a certain degree, you probably shouldn't work there.

      @@willcollins5660 Yep that's right. The closers are also making 2-10X what the appointment setter is making per sale, so it's really in the best interest of the closers to keep the appointment setters happy and paid that way they'll go generate more appointments.

    I'm so confused and can't tell who is being honest or exaggerating. One video said, she made $700 a month but other say they made thousands and I know it can vary depending on a lot of factor but the difference just seems odd. Some are saying you'd be lucky to get one customer a month after knocking thousands of doors. I'd be happy to make $30 an hour on average but there are people saying 95% people will make less than minimum wage.

    • @ConnorJaksik
      @ConnorJaksik  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That's a really good question!! I wondered the same thing for years... The reason why this happens is because the opportunity to make a lot of money is out there, but it requires a crazy kind of determination to be successful at it. Sales companies tell everyone that if they work hard they will make a lot of money, but they just do that to get people working and see who lasts. It's like the difference between a Lebron James and a 4th string player. One of them is completely dialed in and will win at all costs, where the 4th string player just shows up.
