If Lisa Wrote Austen

Just before waking up this morning, I was composing a song in my dream. I think you can tell my subconscious was involved because this song is 1. slightly different from the normal style in which I compose, 2. directly inspired by the classical music of the Jane Austen era, which I have been reading much of recently, and 3. a spin on the melody from "Theme," written a few months ago.
I woke up remembering just enough of the melody and the key in which it was played, and proceeded to work the rest of the song out and record it.
Welcome to my subconscious! Apparently this is what it sounds like.

I think it wouldn't be out of place in the period! It sounds quite homey. I could hear it in the context of Little Women as well. ❤
