    O my where to start, thank you so much for doing this video it brought tears to my eyes. Just wish my brother Bob was still with us cause I know he would have loved to have been with you and Jim aka the Fur Master on this trip. He loved being at his cabin in Double Mer, it was his 2nd home, he would have loved showing you around that place. It is sad to see that our little 12x12 on the trail going in has fell in, we had fun building it, just wish I could get into it in the summer time. Anyhow I could keep going on, but I will leave it at that, I will be planning a trip into there soon. Anyhow once again thank you for this, it does my heart good to see it.

      You don't have to look very far to see why Bob loved this place so much, I taught about him often this trip and I'm sure Jim did to. Thank you very much for letting us use the cabin, I wish I could of done this trip at a earlier time but still felt good to get to see this place that meat so much to Bod, it is very much appreciated. I didn't realize the small 12x12 only collapsed recently, when we got back to lake Melville I mentioned to Jim that's a good strong door, worth bringing to Double Mer. Thanks again Keith for not only letting us use the cabin but also for commenting, means a lot as well, take care and enjoy your trip...

    What an awesome place double mare is, great video. I knew Bob Very well as he worked he in Churchill and-my son worked for him. Everyone pretty well new Bob a great farmer too ! I’m curious as to why in the world would Jim be collecting wolf scat ? What in the world do he do with that ?

    • @Biglandtrapper
      @Biglandtrapper  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, yes I can easily see why this place meant so much to him, a little piece of heaven on earth. Yes great farmer indeed, good at land scaping as well, before he took sick he was going to give me a few lawn care tips, something I suck at ...lol You put that wolf scat in a area used by different wolves and you will get their attention...

    That trail going in is so narrow, a guy smoking a cigarette would have it ripped from his lips if he turned his head. Are you fishing in fresh or salt water? Is there a tide? I wouldn't be sniffing wolf crap. Lots of dangerous bacteria/ parasites in it. Glad to see you all healed up. Thanks for the video. It was quite good.

    • @Biglandtrapper
      @Biglandtrapper  ปีที่แล้ว

      That trail is about 23 km's like that, we taught we were going to have to break the trail but couple fellers came through a couple days before, made our trip a lot easier. Salt water, top layer fairly brackish I would say. Jesus I think Jim actually licked it, I never noticed tell I was editing.. Really enjoyed this trip, was overdo for it, thank you..
