Thank you for being very informational. I watched a couple of your videos and they are awesome. I'm thinking about following what you are doing and use it for my diesel generator :)
There are two lines out of the fuge...the one is clean oil when on and the second is for the fmdirty when you turn it off...it drains to a 5 gallon bucket

enjoyed the video. for a WMO recycling project I want to install a brass bulkhead into a barrel so I can control the draining from the bottom to the centrifuge. I figure the brass will hold up better than plastic. it comes with a washer but will it seal better if I use something like JB Weld on it? or is it unnecessary? I'm concerned about the effect of petroleum on the bulkhead and seal. thank you for any assistance you can provide.
I don't think a cotton candy machine is machine to spin this much weight...and do they have a lip to catch things? I think they are just to spin...I think the lip (if any) is super small...wouldn't hold much water and grime
You could try boiling...just would need it to be boiling to the point water evaporates...but I am not sure because water is heavier than oil so when you heat it the water goes to the bottom...could not work too
+Konstantinos Fotiadis eehmmm boiling water/oil solution? the water will evaporate but its trapped under the oil so the steam pockets tend to burst underneath the oil sending boiling oil across the room, thats also why toy shouldn't put water in a deep frier
I don't think that is completely true...heat rises...so the water being heated at the bottom might work it's way to the top with convection...not really sure.. just brainstorming
Water sinks to the bottom of the solution and it stays there due to the physics of water of it being Polar and having strong surface tenstion, yet it boils at 100C and oil can get way higher so if the oil gets hotter then lets say 120C the water will flash evaporate and explode Konstantinos Fotiadis
@@jasonbrown7258 I use this one now... www.wvodesigns.com/raw-power-centrifuge.html.html A much nicer design...I have an extra for sale if you need one
inside the bowl, they are for draining it once you turn it off. the other hole is outside the bowl in the green cylinder.. that's where it drains into my drum and is clean

sorry i did'nt get it, was this seperating used veg oil into a cleaner veg oil? What was the purpose of the separation? Could it work to separate coconut milk into oil?
This is the best video I have found to explain how one of these works. Thank you.
Nice to see and have explained. Most people just try to explain centrifuge and are afraid to run the system open like that.
Great Job.

do it...that would be a great idea....this fuge is for sale!
@@konstantinosfotiadis I know it’s a long shot, but do you still have it for sale?
Great video..thanks for taking the time to share
Excellent demo of this operation

is this centrifuge strong enough to filter used motor oil? thanks
Thanks for sharing
Where can I buy one at? You think this will work with motor oil?
Καλό βίντεο σύννομε.
ευχαριστώ!
Looks like a centrifuge is in my future
Thanks
Sounds like an aca P50 tornado siren at full speed
How much $$ do these cost? How many rpms does it turn? Sounds like its quieter than some c/fuges.
Do we have a part# for this thing? I cannot find it to save my life.
of course it could!

Oil water mix flowing across a heated plate might work.
How to clean oil sludge from this machine?
if you hada oil-water mix what would happen to the water
Lovely, I have been looking for one. At what rpm is the motor rotating?
I have sold this one. I got an even better one now. I dont use it anymore tho
If you are interested in it, send me an email
@@konstantinosfotiadis Thanks for the offer. Surely we can connect. What's your mail id?
whats the website to buy one of those and how much do they run for?
hi
it seems that theres no Bee clean company...the website is not ok....can you help me find them?
I don't think they exist anymore...I don't use this one....upgraded to cwvo designs"
Do you need methanol for this?
can you please read how much power your electric motor produces?
I'm planing to build my own centrifuge, and this information would help me a lot. :)
Did you manage to build your own centrifuge? You could be of help
I've looked all over the Internet for that machine where the hell did you buy that machine from I want one and I can't find one anywhere
Me too!! I just wish I knew what it was called in honey making circles..I've looked at about 50 different bee supply places
this centrifuge is for sale if anyone is interested!

ok i got it now!
Must take days
where does the water go
What is the capacity ?
how many gallons for a minute can be processed ?
Probably 32oz on this one...I ran it at 8 gallons per hour...depends on how dirty you input is and how clean you want your output
@@konstantinosfotiadis what size motor are you using hp and rpm

what about the drain holes on the bottom of the spinning drum ? where does that oil go ? Do you close off those holes
inside the bowl, they are for draining it once you turn it off. the other hole is outside the bowl in the green cylinder.. that's where it drains into my drum and is clean
I can imagine why the screen went black when you stuck your finger in the active centrifuge....
Other than that, very informative.
thanks for prowling to learn and picking out a point that doesn't matter in the grand scheme of stuff....troll on tool
I found mine used for 750
Of when rpm is the motors

what if there is water in your oil? how to you seperate all the water from the oil? will this centrifuge remove the water?
How much rpm use to separate oil from particles
I saw one ran at 17,000 rpm
if you boil the oil, will it remove the water?
well water and oil dont go well together lol. Plus i think that if the oil is gets tooo hot it turns bad.
Don't need to boil You just run it it through a heater to get it to around 185-190 before running through centrifuge and the water will steam off.
sorry i did'nt get it, was this seperating used veg oil into a cleaner veg oil? What was the purpose of the separation? Could it work to separate coconut milk into oil?
I dont recommend this fuge anymore...check out my newer videos with the wvodesigns fuge
greecemonkey? are you from Greece?
Greek descent ,I guess
+pennswoodsed yup! my father is from Kozani
Hi I come from Greece. I don't speak English verx well so can you please answer to me in Greek how Separation of solids and liquids??
kalh magia
A rotating mass "EXERTS" a centrifugal force, it is not subject to such a force.
are you greek? Your don't seem be living in Greece though
TAKE THE HEATER ELEMENT OUT OF A CANDY FLOSS MACHINE AND IT
DOES THE SAME JOB
Fact! Water is NOT heavier than Oil. Water is more dense than oil which is why Oil floats on Water.
