It's why I made this tutorial! Something to help some people out who may not want to pay a dealership the money to put an exhaust on. But I am also with you on taking my bike to a dealership, I do that with mine for many things just because I like having that peace of mind
I bought this bike and the warranty was already expired. I see no reason why it would void the warranty, the slip on just takes the stock exhaust off and as long as you have a servo buddy to place in the spot of the servo motor, I don't see how it could
Do you need to also buy a servo buddy along with the exhaust? I bought one and it got delivered today but I never knew about getting a servo buddy. Should I wait until I can get one delivered and then install the exhaust or can I do it now?
Yes you would, the servo buddy is a cheap way to keep your bike from throwing a check engine and a code, especially usefull if you're just doing a slip-on exhaust. Full system exhausts usually requires an ECU flash. The servo buddy is a really easy plug and play, it may take a few cycles of the bike for the check engine light to go away (mine was around 5/6 cycles) you can put the exhaust on and ride around but I wouldn't recommend riding for a long period of time without the servo buddy installed, I went about a week before mine got delivered. I bought mine on Revzilla for $60
@@mike636 Actually you don't need a servo buddy, but I would highly recommend it. If you don't have a servo buddy, you can disconnect the servo cables from the exhaust and just zip tie them. Just don't disconnect your servo motor.
From my understanding and research, the 2023 doesn't change anything bodywise in comparison to the 2019-2022 versions of ZX-6R, so my guess is that it should fit. This kit is called New Rage Cycles Fender eliminator.
@@topx2698 For me it wasn't bad, it wasn't that level of loud to give me a headache or make riding for long periods unpleasent, when I got my new helmet it drowned out the noise even more
@@mike636 You are lucky that you are able to use that sweet exhaust. Around here the police go on "blitzes" where they specifically seek out and target aftermarket and/or loud exhausts. I would hate to go through all of that installation effort, only to get a huge fine, and be given 30 days to put it back to stock.
@@iamtheiceman Oh that sucks!!!! Sorry to hear that! I'd definitely be irritated over that especially since this slip on was $500😒 the police in my city don't pay any mind to aftermarket exhausts on cars or bikes, they're more likely complement you if it sounds nice and they like it. I couldn't go back to having the stock exhaust on this😂
I envy riders who do all this work. I’m taking my bike to the dealership when it’s time to change the exhaust.

Bro amazing video u covered everything with good detail thanks man!
Thank you!!!!!
Thank for how to.
You're welcome!! Glad it was helpful!
Man that's cool! Question, does this void the Kawasaki warranty??

In my city there's another person with the same bike as mine that I'm aware of,, it might've been them that you saw.

Did you keep baffle in or took it out?
I ended up taking the baffle out, there's a fairly big and good difference in sound quality!
@@mike636 is it too loud?

If you don’t have a servo buddy you can detach the exhaust cables from the servo and it will not throw any codes.
I had a servo on order when I first put the exhaust on, only had to wait a couple days before I connected it
Where did you buy it from??
I bought it off of M4 exhausts website
