- The last install from the long day at Taylor's. They put an M4 GP exhaust on his new ZX-6R. Still has the baffle in and they couldn't get it out so yeah..

Nice bike I just joined the Kawasaki gang a couple months ago I put the yoshimura alpha t on mine and love it also put sliders stickers new grips and other stuff on it man gotta say I'm glad I went with this bike rather than the Suzuki gsx600

Whatup Josh how’s it going 👍🏻 this video brings back many good memories for me as I fitted the M4 GP on both my 2010 and 2011 Kawasaki Zx6r. It’s definitely a fantastic exhaust but if you were thinking about a M4 exhaust for Kay-Ann’s Zx6r I would go M4 Street Slayer as time has gone by I definitely prefer the looks of the Street Slayer than the GP. Sound wise i don’t really think there’s to much difference tbh both sound 🔥 if was Taylor id definitely consider getting his rims powder coated Kawasaki green again I did on both mine and it makes it pop take a look as there’s a couple of videos of them so he could see what he thinks
I’ll let him know about the rims, but as far as the exhaust goes we both prefer the GP look. We like that low mount 🤤
harVentures yeah he might like it you never know. The Street Slayer is a low mount exhaust bro sits exactly where the GP does but hey its all good bro
Question: I’m installing a M4 GP19 slip-on onto my 2021 ZX-6r and I’ll be eliminating the cat-converter along with adding the servo buddy. With that being said, is a flash needed? Does it ruin the bike in any way if I go without doing this? Lmk! Appreciate it!
Should be fine. As long as you don’t change the air filter and change up the A/F ratio too much you don’t need a flash. Your exhaust will crackle and pop, but it won’t hurt it.
Change out the servo with a servo buddy, it fees up space and runs a bit better in my opinion
Having a cutie in the video made it even more exciting. I like your M4 GP. Wonder how it compares with the M4 Slayer, or Two Brothers. Most guys do the swap in an Hour or so, why did it take you guys 6 Hours????
I have this exact same bike and I am interested in this slip on. Do I need a power commander or ECU flash or is it fine to just put on the slip on?
It will be fine running it without anything else. It will have some crackles and pops, but it will be fine.
That baffle es is a bitch to get out no matter what tool you have.

8:02 I REMEMBER THAT BOLT. I’m pretty sure they used JB Weld as the locktite on that one. Took me 30 mins to loosen with arm strength
Yeah it’s a pain. I think the one on my ZX-10 made Antowan bleed lol. There’s usually a blood sacrifice

Only open the 1 big bolt which holds the cat box to the chassis.

The right bolt is higher up and rubber mounted to chassis.

Popular one is called “servo buddy” you can get em on revzilla and many other websites. Might be able to find one on amazon
did yall take out the metal sponges sitting inside the pipe that comes after the headers.. i did, it was the worsttt took for ever

You can take the cables out and leave the servo on. If you take the servo off, then you need a a servo buddy or something like that. But yeah just the cables off and you’re good 👍🏻

No problem! Mine is just a slip on. Austin racing doesn’t make a full system since the zx-10 comes with titanium headers. At least when I got it anyway

Yeah the m4. It was pretty loud, but sounds great! I think it comes with a baffle so you could always leave that in if you think it’s too loud.
does this void warranty?
From what I gathered real quick, if there is an issue with your bike that they can trace back to you changing something/exhausts then yeah they can blame that and void the warranty.

What engine light thing? You mean if we take off the servo? If that’s what you mean, he got a servo buddy, which just clips in so it doesn’t throw a code.

If u remove the servo cables without moving the servo head there will be no engine lights. No need to remove the servo and add buddy.
Unless you want the weight saving.

Kay-Ann looked so bored. I think the most excitement she had the entire time is when she burped as y'all were getting ready to leave. It might have been louder than the bike, too. Maybe she can record it and sell it to exhaust manufacturers as pipe volume/sound control. "Gentlemen, we are looking for the ultimate exhaust system here at 'Muffle Yo Momma Exhaust Specialties' and we want to it to be as loud as can be, but no louder than this....Stevie, play KA's sound clip." BUUUUURRRRRPPPPP!!! "That's it for maximum volume, or we might start fighting lawsuits from bikers with our pipes that have lost their hearing in one week after installing our KA Special Edition Exhaust." LOL
😂😂 Yeah she was over it at that point. We were there for 6 hours! It’s been a while since Kay-Ann has had a burp in a video 😂 And he finally got the baffle out so it may be louder than her now 🤔
@@harVentures Haha, yeah, probably louder than KA now, but if you heard the occasional ear splitting belch my wife can muster up, you would beg for extra hearing protection. LOL.
