9:57 The nice thing about the Lumix S5 Mark II is that you don't need to mount the camera vertically for portrait mode, just use "Open Gate" recording and crop the sides of the image.
Vertical shooting still gives you more sensor to use
@@HAlariousInctrue, but with open gate you can do both. Comes in clutch when the client also asks for a reel

@@HAlariousInc if your delivering vertical you really wont even use the amount of information on tye open gate from this camera - odds on its social media - and thats actually 720p

I have such a complicated relationship to gimbals. I generally prefer steadicams, but for long shots or certain moves gimbals are better. Last one I owned was the Zhiyun Crane 3 and it was way too big and clunky for me. Maybe a smaller gimbal like this, or even the regular RS3, would suit me better. Only thing I don't love about this one is you can't attach side handles, which definitely help with fatigue.

Looks like a great little gimbal, not sure I fit the niche they're going for but could be a good entry for some people. (rs2/movi user here) The weight different sounds appealing, however I think the lack of mounting options/swappable batteries would keep it from becoming a daily driver for me on professional gigs. If it could quickly fold up smaller spatially to fit in a bag and quickly deploy then I'd be tempted as a secondary take anywhere gimbal, the space and setup time for my rs2 is usually the deciding factor for if I use a gimbal on a shoot or not rather than the weight. If DJI were to try a different form factor than the conventional bottom stick factor I could really see something like this becoming a travel main stay tho. (say something where the handle quickly folded up to the side or a scorpion configuration so I could toss the whole thing in a cam bag without breaking down.
Requests on the Fujifilm X-H2S cage:
1. Bridge the gap on the top nato rail.
2. Bridge that gap to the camera’s hot shoe to allow for the most secure fit.

Nice to see. Everyone filming each other, in the end you can see what happened over three channels of creators, no need to live the moment, just watch what happened afterwards. Somewhat stabilized of course.
Aside from the gimbal, the s5ii looked amazing. Seems to have struggled with AF at the beginning with 2 or more people to stick. But promising nonetheless

Yeah, this gimbal looks quite good. I use a weebill-s which is still great but tends to be a bit heavy. This one seems lighter, could be useful.

I'm about to buy a full frame camera for 80% video and 20% stills. The lens selection offered by Panasonic and Sigma seems to be decent so I'm leaning towards the Panasonic over Sony A7 IV.

Even though I love small and light gimbal, Still RS3 mini might not the right one for me. I think I’d prefer dji rs3 size but hope they make it with carbon fiber arm. Currently I’m using RS2 with canon eos R5 with 24-70. Maybe I should wait for DJI rs4. Any suggestion?

There are people who buy a new iPhone every year.
So, I am searching years now... on a new camera to upgrade from my old Sony 6300.
It will be either the A7siii / FX3 or yeah... even the new Lumix S5iiX.
i'm still using the RSC-2, coz can had the briefcase mode, and it can be folded for easy cariying.
it should have the automatic lock. that's one of the best things about the rs3.
why did DJI stop adding the active track function to their gimbals. seems ill need to buy an old school sc or rsc 2 to have that function
