currently own an SE AWD and couldn't be happier. It ticks all the boxes, great multimedia system, fuel economy, sporty look and all wheel drive. It's the perfect vehicle.
Great review! I want this car someday. Unfortunately, the price is still higher than it should be but what can one individual do about this. This is the reality of the world today. Some would just say get a better job but I am have tried and not been successful. I am doing the best I can and I will figure a way to get this car even if I have to get one used someday.
Great look at the new Camry. There are some fair dealerships still out there. I was able to pick up a SE for 10% off MSRP. No added nonsense either. 4 months in and I can say it drives like a normal ice car. TFS is offering 4.99%
Our local Toyota dealership seems to only get 2025 Camry SE cars in with an. occasional XSE. I didn't tty one because I didn't want to deal with low profile tires anymore because they are fragile. I had low profile fires on my 2007 Honda Accord and was frequently having to replace tires due to blowouts from pot holes and curbs so I bought the only LE trim that ever came in. I am sure that the Camry SE is a. great car.
Great review and I think this might be the best looking new-gen Camry spec I've seen yet! Very handsome - I like the slightly less overstyled looks compared to the XSE . When you say 'active' air curtains do you mean things internally are actually mechanically adapting (ie active grill shutters or rear wings)? That's what I think of for active aero - or do you just mean 'functional', not a dummy vent? Either way very handsome car! Thanks nice review!
Thanks Arthur! I should have referred to vents as functional which is the accurate term. Glad to see Toyota didn’t cheapen the look of Camry for this generation.
I have taken it over some very steep mountain grades. I was amazed how effortless the power train performed. I think in part because Toyota does use a 2.5 in this car instead of the standard 2.0 found in most
Makes one wonder if Toyota has something with TRD up their sleeves for future Hybrid Camrys in this new generation. 300+hp Hybrid powertrain, suspension?? Honda will definitely utilize Hybrid and Si or Type R variants at some point.
Love the asymmetrical dual exhausts off to one side too - tucked in clean - very 90's 00's super cool in this day of overdone dual exhaust (on both sides) on everything

I looked at 1 of these. What I didn't like was that it is low to the ground and I felt cramped in the driver's seat. Also, that felt material on the dash and doors?! Didn't like that either.

I really like the look of the two tone roof and black mirror caps on the XSE but 43k is a lot of $$ for a camry
Very well put, and it's refreshing to have a reviewer who is articulate, in command of the language, and grammatically correct. Keep it up!

Was it heavy to pick up?
Something like 3400lbs. Give or take. Sorry. I drive a Camry. I'm old. At least that's what the guys at work say
What state and dealership?
Hemet Toyota. Hemet CA. Middle of nowhere.
It just sucks that the SE starts at 30k, but with even the most minimal options like the audio system upgrade and awd you're over 35k.

This new Camry should get the Car of the Year award for 2024/25.

you should include and break down speific pricing and colors..
I want to know how this climbs steep grades like going through mountain passes. Does it struggle? Is the 4 cylinder screaming? High rpm’s?

Which is better for a new driver? This camry or prius?

very nice
Tuff for me, this body is close to 2018-2024 bodystyle. I have 2018 now.

Great review. Awesome car 👍
Massive markups and no stock 😢
Best selling through a rental cars

Se more like mix between luxury and sport just as F Sport Is and es model.
36k for a SE is outrageous
I have to agree with you. Everything seems like it’s 10k minimum over priced, no matter the brand/manufacturer

Affordable??? You gotta be shitting me !!
And the sporty look is ugly! We want classy look like the Mercedes Benz S class !!
Affordable 😂
Youre a goodlooking guy.

Stopping at 6:30. You're saying over and over "At thirty thousand dollars". You can't purchase the Camry XE AWD for that price, anywhere.
Stop lying.
He might be talking about the LE for that price lol
Big, very expensive Corolla.

nice car if you can get it without markups
Everytime I get into a rented Toyota Camry or Corolla, I fell like I’m in a taxi. It’s not appealing. They need to change the inside.
