No stove, no refrigerator and 108,000 (starting price) for a Tiny home! Sorry, but there is nothing special about this Tiny Home that even warrants that kind of price.
a "tiny home" is a trailer. This is a 763sf cabin or cottage. It's real estate. Comps used to appraise this home were existing site-built homes of similar size and amenities. You are correct, it could've been built a lot more cheaply with lower-paid, less skilled labor, lower quality materials and builder-grade appliances and finishes. But it wasn't. There is another market for cheaply built homes.
There’s nowhere to put a sofa in that first cabin, one wall is the sliding door, another is the fireplace, another has the entry door. The only place would be facing the fireplace, but that would block the kitchen access. Bad layout.
Where do you put a couch??? Dble slider doors and another door on the other side, so where's the room for any living room furniture??? And why are there never closts.
@@johncantu6316 there is nothing 'clever' about calling it a cabin or cottage. It's to convey exactly what they are; smaller homes constructed similar to site built. No close neighbors. Rural farmland all around. 45 minutes from city. These 'cabins' would fit in my living room, and I have soooo much more, for a WHOLE lot less.
I would change the Kitchen orientation and make the Fridge beside the stove with a small set of drawer caninents between them. Then build the peninsula out on the dining room side. Mainly to let more light in to the kitchen and put a window over the sink on the wall side. Perhaps not quite as open but much brighter in the green kitchen also fridge closer to the door for putting groceries in this way. Otherwise very nice.
What is the difference in build quality between these cabins and a Modular Home? Are these built and then transported to the buyer's land? Or are they built on site like a regular house?
