I'm feeling the Order of the Dragon. I would rather have a smaller army of stronger specialized units vs. a mass of cannon fodder. In regard to the comment about population efficiency and OotD being broken late game, what the devs will probably do something similar to Starcraft: either make each elite unit use much more supply (so instead of 1 supply per unit it's 4) or they will cut the total supply for OotD by half (so instead of 200 max pop it will be 100). Either one of those seems to be the most likely scenario because if they don't, OotD will be the most powerful civ in AOE late game hands down. They will be virtually unstoppable.

3:40 Hard disagree here. HRE is already an easy enough civ to play. A variant should differ from it's parent in order for it to feel more unqiue as a whole. By giving OoTD the simple to play treatment, it will nullify any sort of new unique units or changes for that civ in the future. Because every single time that topic will be brought up upon, people will reply with "Because it's the easiest civ to play, more unique units would make it hard for new players" or something along with that. I did not expect the devs create any new unique units to HRE or the OoTD and I'm still disappointed that it was all just a reskin and hard coded stat changes, except for the cavalrys charge attack ability which is the french knights charge attack ability, but for defense. I would love it if they actually get some unique units, but I highly doubt it will happen.
I don't agree, you need to be good at defending and in lower levels it is easier to be the attacker than the defender. Also you want to go to castle age as soon as possible and lower Elo players may lose to feudal aggression, which is the meta right now.
