    Thank you so much... Read the instructions umpteen times and looked at it for hours... You've given me the confidence to actually turn it on now 😅

    hi, i think i have this exact model but in black. it came with a hose, i didnt quite get the instructions. upon unboxing and peeling off the tape from the drawer and sides, did you need to do anything else before switching it on? i'm worried that if i dont attach the hose, i'll be in for a wet floor lol.

      Hi, the hose as I understand it is to use on a wet room floor for example. Never used it, I just empty the tank.

      @@StuartSmudge ok awesome. yeah i think i was being overly cautious since i spent nearly £200 on it including protection 🤣🤣 i got it on now, it seems pretty good, although it seems to be at odds with my fridge magnet humidity detector. i took it off the fridge and put it next to it, left it for an hour and the dehumidifier said humidity was at 45, my magnet said it was at 55 lol

    Thanks for the video. The fan seems fairly quiet when set to low speed. I cannot tell from the video if the compressor makes a constant humming noise or if it’s silent, any info on that?

    On my second one of these. The first one had a broken wheel out of the box and the second ones motor starting making extremely loud noises after a day of use.

    I bought the 20L version today from Harvey Norman. I have yet to see how effective this is. Apart from dehumidifying the room, I want it to function as a clothes dryer.

    • @StuartSmudge
      @StuartSmudge  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It dries the wet room out in an hour. Humidity drops from 85% to around 50% so should work fine in a room with the door closed, a bathroom or something.

    Hi, good video. Can you manually set the humidity level you want on this model?

    Do you rate this? I've got it and it just seems to constantly blow hot air. The filter is good ect.

    Does this have the option of setting the level of humidity you want and it turns itself off when it reaches it and back on when it goes above? Thanks

    • @StuartSmudge
      @StuartSmudge  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not entirely sure to be honest. I just let it run and then when it hit 50 for example, turn it off. I will have a read, not used it since last winter

    Is it really heavy? I need one that I can carry upstairs and downstairs

    • @StuartSmudge
      @StuartSmudge  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes it is pretty heavy, but doable if the tank is empty and you are careful. I live in a Bungalow so not tried it.

    Hello
    My dehumidifier turns off automatically. Would you know why?
    Thanks

    • @StuartSmudge
      @StuartSmudge  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Ria, I suspect that it's reached the humidity it was set at 55 for example.

    Does the fan have to be on all the time. It feels cold even on low setting

    • @StuartSmudge
      @StuartSmudge  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      As I understand it that is how they work. Pulling the air in and reconditioning it, so yes I beleiev it will need to stay on.

    Hiya there mine has stopped collecting water any ideas what’s going on ?

    • @StuartSmudge
      @StuartSmudge  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure to be honest. Low humidity maybe? Other than that possibly collection part of not fully in place? Hope you get it sorted.
