If it happened at one of my properties, I'd be transparent on what happened for potential renters but never demolish and rebuild. That would financial ruin me. If that makes me an A-hole, I'll take that.
This tells me that they've documented everything and either have a sealed case or they have no case at all. You're basically removing the real crime scene from evidence pool by removing items. It obviously doesn't matter anymore.
You're telling me they didn't find ANY trace of the murderer whatsoever? Why don’t they just bring a psychic or a couple of psychics in to see what they can come up with? I have seen other crimes solved through them. It’s worth a try there’s nothing to lose
Psycics are operating under the same dark, Satanic domain as the killer. The Bible warns us to stay away ftom them! They lie and deceive naive, simple people & charge money for it. That includes fortune tellers!
Furthermore why do you want the authorities to "bring them in"? For fame & noteritity? If they know the name & location of the killer why don't they just pick up the phone & tell police? LOL
Not his first kills and may not be his last. No one who ran in there and caused that much destruction for the first time could be able to not leave behind evidence. So i think we got a serial murderer in our midst. Stay safe friends. Lock your doors and dont stay out too late.
Every time I see the clip of the Police chief I say out loud “Why is he smiling?” It’s creepy because there’s absolutely Nothing to smile about and he doesn’t have to be congenial with reporters. WTF?
I still don’t understand why they said there was an unconscious “person”(but there was 2 in each room) when they called 911. Umm, the 4 were stabbed to death. I mean it was so bloody that it actually seeped out to the exterior of the house. And didn’t they say the roommates called other people and they came over before they even called 911. Just bizarre to me that they would use the word unconscious
No I believe that’s what happened and that’s what I just read the first roommate saw Ethan which screaming out of the house dialing 911 on the way followed by the second one I don’t even think made it out of the house before she fainted and then one of the people coming up to the house completed that 911 call to see this girl was unconscious because she fainted in the yard they don’t know what’s in the house so they were just relaying what they were seeing. It disturbed me too but once I read that explanation I thought oh that makes it that was all they were seeing.
@@marthienel2190 Wonder why all the news channels are still saying that they called 911 to report an unconscious person? I hadn’t heard about anyone fainting. Now that would 100% make sense to me, because there’s no way those roommates didn’t see a bunch of blood.
Hope LE don’t bungle this like they did in Indiana with the Delphi case . This murder of these 4 young kids is so sad and hope they bring this person to justice real soon .
It seems to me that whoever did this needed the victims to be asleep. So, they either had to be watching from outside or been invited to sleep over meaning they would already be inside and aware of who went to bed when. More likely outside and see the two sets of residents enter. In this scenario, the 2 survivors may have already been inside and asleep, so the killer was not aware of them being there. But that would indicate someone who didn't previously know about the 1st floor occupants. 🤔
anything is possible - i'd be surprised if it was someone invited to come in and sleep the night. really hard to say exactly why two were left alone. the house layout is an obvious possibility - plus maybe now knowing who was down there if anyone. if the killer didn't know them well - they could've had guns for all he knew. took the risk anyway. that makes you question maybe yes he did know them - knew they didn't own or use guns.

K's dog apparently was locked in a room (LE didn't said which one) during the attacks
Is too soon. The families needs the belongings? i think the most important thing is to get justice. Families are grieving so i don't expect that they understand. LE don't have someone yet in custody and they will clean the scene? Like JSM say, the samples are very fragile, what if they need something more at any moment? The house will be cleaned and the evidence is gone.
I think moving stuff out of the house was a mistake. There may be a time when the court wants to bring the jury to the scene for a walk through. I’m sorry for the families who want their loved ones belongings, but convicting this demon is the sole goal here.
I don't blame the father, the police clearly aren't maintaining effective, sensitive communication with the victims' families. But there is a danger a private outside detective could confuse the investigation and any subsequent murder trial, by repeating investigations/interviews already conducted by police.
The killer is a skilled fighter and the assault was well planned. He left so little evidence that the FBI is stumped a month later. Killing with a knife is both intimate and dangerous. Great sentiment in theory, but unrealistic. If it happened at one of my properties, I'd be transparent on what happened for potential renters but never demolish and rebuild. That would financial ruin me. If that makes me an A-hole, I'll take that.
@@brandishoogy very well put. Agreed.
This tells me that they've documented everything and either have a sealed case or they have no case at all. You're basically removing the real crime scene from evidence pool by removing items. It obviously doesn't matter anymore.
Obviously police forensics teams have documented everything!
Good conclusion.
@Glamdolly30 Obviously.
However destroying the crime scene by not preserving it is sending a completely different message, Karen..
Not to mention THEYVE ALL BEEN "CREMATED " ALREADY.
You're telling me they didn't find ANY trace of the murderer whatsoever? No indentations in the carpet, on the floor, no hairs, no fibres of clothes, no disturbed pieces of furniture, no hampering with front doors, back doors, side doors and/or windows? Absolutely nothing that could indicate another person entered and left the house?
@Barri Smith I'm British. O.O
They’re looking for a car now!! The “occupants likely have information”
What kind
J Showalter vehicle?
@@arielsea9087 No idk who’s car it is. All I know is they are looking for a car 😳 It was just on TV they released a statement
@@Noticerofthings I forgot but I think they said no license plates
@@Elliebear218 Well that helps a ton
TO THE FAMILYS IM SO SORRY.
They know who did this I can tell by his face 😮
Then they need to get people in there and have them give them their DNA... I don't know what they're waiting for
@Judi Who's face?
The cops
All the families all know each other. All tied to politicians and cops from meridian. Just look up all the last names involved in case and their ties to meridian .
How many people even in the week prior were in and out of that house, touching everything, even using bathrooms, sinks, maybe even the showers.
Do you copy and paste this comment on all of these videos?
Interested if they asked Jack for the clothes he wore to the foodtruck that night ?
Sorry for families
I think the perpetrator knew the victims because it seems so targeted but I hope he/she didn’t because for the people staying behind (family, friends, students etc) involved it is going to be so much harder afterwards maybe knowing the perpetrator. I hope thy get Justice and the case can be closed soon🥺 🕊
Really cranking out the vids on this today lol
Why don’t they just bring a psychic or a couple of psychics in to see what they can come up with? I have seen other crimes solved through them.
It’s worth a try there’s nothing to lose
Psycics are operating under the same dark, Satanic domain as the killer. The Bible warns us to stay away ftom them! They lie and deceive naive, simple people & charge money for it. That includes fortune tellers!
Furthermore why do you want the authorities to "bring them in"? For fame & noteritity? If they know the name & location of the killer why don't they just pick up the phone & tell police? LOL
PS... You said "what have they got to lose?" Time... They are a waste of time because they lie & mislead all the time.
Not his first kills and may not be his last.
No one who ran in there and caused that much destruction for the first time could be able to not leave behind evidence. So i think we got a serial murderer in our midst. Stay safe friends. Lock your doors and dont stay out too late.
My thoughts too.
Prayers ❤️
Such a weird ugly house. Should be torn down in the future.
That will end the Crime Scene… WTH???
Every time I see the clip of the Police chief I say out loud “Why is he smiling?” It’s creepy because there’s absolutely Nothing to smile about and he doesn’t have to be congenial with reporters. WTF?
Get this just now. Thanks, I have family who lives up there.
Why aren't they talking about the fight over the upper decker at the frat party?
It's been widely reported: one of the two surviving roommates fainted while trying to communicate about what she had found.
@@marthienel2190 Wonder why all the news channels are still saying that they called 911 to report an unconscious person? I hadn’t heard about anyone fainting. Now that would 100% make sense to me, because there’s no way those roommates didn’t see a bunch of blood.
@@True_Crime_Junkie16 I heard on several channels hat one of the two survivors fainted while trying to communicate what she had witnessed.
@@True_Crime_Junkie16 So, you know what the visibility was through every window?
Hope LE don’t bungle this like they did in Indiana with the Delphi case . This murder of these 4 young kids is so sad and hope they bring this person to justice real soon .
I actually thought about that same thing!
If this was on the first 48 we would have a lead, the department seems to not know what they are doing by the way they keep clearing possible suspects
@@moaningpheromones Ya, I keep feeling certain about certain people as suspects and that I won't be surprised if one is finally arrested. I completely respect the police but compromising the case and do believe they are gong to announce only when it's solidified. I also feel for those frustrated parents. Too bad they can't at least reassure them that they are going to catch whoever is responsible. That is all the info it would take.
It looks like this crime will never be solved! So sad!!
I think they will solve it.
Jack Showalter, (food truck/ hoodie-guy), seems very likely the one who did it.
Check out TH-camr Joseph Morris's recent video on it.
It's going cold.
just waking up poses a challenge for law enforcement.
Girl was fallowed home from the bar. She probably upset a guy that can’t get action.
I was part of the Virginia Tech shooting; while we all went home when the school shut down, classes were largely full after the shooting. It's interesting to me that folks feel so unsafe with this incident that occurred off-campus that classes are so empty.
What do you think the main difference between that situation and this one is? How might that difference have an effect on student interactions after these different tragedies?
@@michaelkirby5272I think at virginia tech they knew who the shooter was right after it happened. With this one the mystery of who it was is unnerving.
They are probably scared because thr murder(s) have still not been found
That was a long time before the pandemic, though. People weren’t as likely to do call in from zoom then.
sorry do u wanna be walking around a campus while a murderer is most likely from the community even if they aren’t there still thats scary asf
The Chief has his hands full, the chief in a big city would have his hands full with a case like this. I hope he turns to the FBI and ISP for help when needed. This case has got to be solved ASAP!
Still condolences 2families involved*
What do you think about JAMES CuRTIS LEONARD ?? Arrested 1a.m. Dec 7, 2022 only short distance from the 1122 house for peeping tom activity. aND HE HAS HUGE BANDAGE ON HIS FOREARM.
That bandage is very suspicious 👀 😳 and how did he murder someone 15 years ago and get out of jail?
Lord, that's NOT why he was arrested.
39-year-old James Leonard is being held on $100,000 bond in the Latah County Sheriff’s Office Jail in Moscow. Leonard is charged with felony domestic battery with traumatic injury, felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony attempted strangulation and felony injury to a child.
everyday there's murder cases....for this one i hope it get solved..... young souls deserve justice. T_T sigh.... so sad still.....stay strong dear victim family and friends.

At least something good came out of it,more security on campus n hopefully residents consider:CCTV*!!
Wait, now a surviving victim called? I thought at the beginning LE said it was NOT one of them. What the heck?
How else would the perp get the door lock key?
I heard earlier that the back sliding door was unlocked...but how would the killer know that?
that much knifing and blood there will be DNA from the butcher. And then..he is a goner
Maddy looked just like her mom.
Have they check the air events from the house for the kinft
QUESTION, IS IT KNOWN IF THE 2 SURVIVING ROOM MATES WERE IN THE SAME OR DIFFERENT ROOMS?
I think different rooms on the 1st floor which the killer never went on. Also I heard their doors were locked
Both survivors were each in their rooms, on the 1st floor. X & E were in X's room on the 2nd floor, M&K were in M's room-3rd. And 2 vacant rooms: one previously K's (on 3rd floor she had most of her things moved) and another (2nd) that was on lease for a sixth unidentified person.
Who are we to say ?
They should at least know if it was more than 1 person
Wonder what FBI is up to in this case.
following this case from india
I believe the Police should be looking for the guy that killed a dog a month before the killings.
We would assume they've already collected:DNA samples(although it's abit of a rush)2retrieve the belonging
The killer is watching 😢
I think moving stuff out of the house was a mistake. There may be a time when the court wants to bring the jury to the scene for a walk through.
I’m sorry for the families who want their loved ones belongings, but convicting this demon is the sole goal here.
Almost one month?! Thank goodness the father is getting a private investigator.
I don't blame the father, the police clearly aren't maintaining effective, sensitive communication with the victims' families. But there is a danger a private outside detective could confuse the investigation and any subsequent murder trial, by repeating investigations/interviews already conducted by police.
I know the police have a good idea who did this but are reluctant to arrest him. Why is that?
Why did the roommate call 911 saying was unconscious when they were all brutally stabbed
I'm wondering if it was Only the alive housemates stuff taken today
The killer is a skilled fighter and the assault was well planned. He left so little evidence that the FBI is stumped a month later. Killing with a knife is both intimate and dangerous. He went into a building alone with a minimum 6 people inside. The killer is physically strong and very confident with his athleticism. I would profile a fit male in his 20’s or mid thirties, athlete or former athlete, imposing but also intelligent and meticulous. Some martial arts or wrestling/boxing. Military or perhaps police experience. If he is a cop we have a real problem on our hands…
Or hunting big game exoerience! Showalter has videos of hi g game hunting with tge type of knife they are looking for
girl at food truck pointed to someone off camera snd said something about a fight and pointed
The call was report one of the survivors had passed out and called paramedics and then the police
John Showalter
Yassss!!!
And this is why you shouldn’t live in places like Idaho. Sure it’s quiet then it’s not and nobody can solve your murder.
I felt the clearing of kaylees bf so quickly was bizarre, but EVEN MORESO was seeing her sister EMPHATICALLY back her sisters ex bf up "1000%" and also state in other interviews-allthewhule being the only immediate family member of kaylees to seemingly be VOID of any real emotions or sorrow
It was WAY too quick & I read that he has lots of family in police & politics over there. Very shocked he got cleared SO fast after dna was found & 2 of the victims called him.
Something's "just not right" about this whole case. Now removing items from the crime scene by the State Police? Hmmmm 🤔
I find it weird too. I yet to see the sister cry.
I feel for everyone. It’s my understanding that Xana had a difficult childhood due to her mom’s bad decisions in life. Of course I’m not judging her mom. I think her father did speak on Xana’s behalf. But her mom was arrested shortly later. Her mom probably feels so guilty. I just can’t imagine all the pain these murders have caused. I think it’s amazing that Xana was a hard worker and very focused on her classes, so she could have an amazing and successful life. I think her grandparents raised her. I really don’t know if I could do these interviews either. 💔💔💔💔 All of them were amazing. 😢😢
@@bbe3034 who hasn't made 'bad decisions 'in life??? Her poor mother, I could hear in her voice the same sound I myself have sounded like.
Irregardless of Xanas mom had a past, I believe the father likely embellished the fact and kept distan e between her and xana not to protect t them but as retaliation for not being with him
I find Sierra to be too green and annoying this is unwatchable
Who Made the 911 Call? and from who's phone??
What's with the thumbnails. It looks like the start to a 90's sitcom.
🤦🏽♀️
😂😂😂
Sierra Gilespie, the news anchor here - it’s pronounced Mos-co, not Mos-cow, even though it’s spelled MOSCOW. Surprised she isn’t better versed on such a enormous killing, world wide. She’s too green to be reporting this. Know the facts about this tragic environment, otherwise you sound ignorant, like you’re just reporting a non-event case…..this is NOT. Joseph Scott is so intelligent and knowledgeable, he knows of what he speaks. Prayers for the families and the souls of those precious people.
Jesus christ, there's many people reporting on this who have ACCIDENTALLY mispronounced Moscow-get a grip.

It’s not uncommon that DNA will be of no help. As he says.
The ex-boyfriend "Jack DuCouer" did it, the case will be solved once he is arrested.☝
Bingo!
I pray for the families but this drives me nuts. Everyone is assuming or speculating what happened. This doesn’t help the families at all. Let the police do their job . Do you really think that every murder with no suspects is solved in a week? I know we all want answers but this isn’t the way. How horrible it is cases like this take time. We don’t know what they found at the house . But do you want to accuse someone to wrap up a case ? Watch what happened to Ramsey’s? Destroying lives ? Please be patience And have faith. You don’t want them to rush because “ we “ the people want resold that later can be used against the case. Probably going to get a lot of negative comments but this is my opinion and the way I think about it. 😢😢🙏🙏🙏🕯🕯🕯
It’s too soon to release items from the house. This is not a smart idea. I’m sure the families would rather the killer be caught then get items from the house.
Have a feeling that someone from the that college house ...........
It still makes no sense why soemone called for a unconscious person? I’m confused about that part still
