What if you an account already set up on your mobile phone can you connect it to the portal without doing anything as I can’t remember my email address for it I’ll check or can you used the code they give you without using the account password
Awesome I am getting one for my grandma. I need to do the whole setup, including creating a Facebook and WhatsApp for her. I think it will really help her contact use more easily.
When I try do a custom name or try use any of the existing names I’m getting an error saying “portal name not saved something went wrong when you tried to give the portal a name try again” any ideas when why it won’t work I can’t find any answers online ?
My portal goes straight to demo mode right after it downloads updates. Portal support was not helpful at all. Any tips to get my Portal out of demo/retail mode?

Oh thank you so much my problem started at turn it on bit lost after that.my Down's daughter will be using it as well as me she in residential home.she is on wifi not sure about residential home her lap top in her room but wifi portal go from her computer or the home itself?she is not allowed FB I will get Spotify .will I effect residential home.Amazon is frowned on aswel so can I get around these things without FB or if face book is used can I get around it by just me
Yeah I'd be very interested to see, whether voice assistant is not working if only setup with whatsapp, since on the accounts screen it only says call for whatsapp.

I tried to get her on Facebook,but they would not accept her since she did not have a cell phone. I tried to use mine,but they would not accept it. I was unable to contact Facebook to try and resolve this,but with no success. Thumbs down on Portal and Facebook.

I have original black portal with no screen. My wifi equipment was upgraded and I cannot reconnect portal.

I have the portal set up but I have new WiFi. How can I get to the screen where I can put in my new WiFi info?
Have you tried NOT signing into Facebook and only using WhatsApp? I don't want my Portal linked to Facebook.
