👁 About this video : If you own a motorcycle, you should have this modification! Wrecked a bit of my motorcycle and if only I had frame slides!! In today's video I go over frame sliders for a motorcycle! Unfortunately I learned the hard way how important these are for any bike. I had just pulled the bike out of the garage and needed to go inside for a sec, I heard a loud bang sound and thought for a second it was the trash can or something, but when I went outside, it was my bike on the ground! That was hard to see because I have had this bike for 13K miles with no issues, so this was the one time so far I needed frame sliders. So I did some research and ordered these ones to install and I am very happy with them. I originally thought I would have to cut and planned on doing that, but with the medal adapters provided, they look very sturdy and I was able to not have to cut. So hopefully they hold up well if the bike does go over again, but I'm hoping now that I have them it won't do that and I can have some peace of mind in case it does. I am frustrated that I did not order them day one, so hopefully this helps one of you order them asap! It's a very important and cheap way to protect your bike!

Thanks for your video. Used the $25 eBay special Delrin and worked great on my 2007 Cbr600rr! No cutting took about 20minutes, first time taking off bottom plastics for me. Just remember there is a difference in bolt sizes for each side.
Glad you found some that worked.
I just dropped my brand new, 2 week old bike in my garage...had a few scratches that I was able to buff out, but my clutch lever scratched up one of the Honda stickers....ordered my frame sliders yesterday, can't wait to put them on.
Unfortunately it happens, I was always like "I'm never going to drop my bike, why would I do that"...now I wish I had them on before, but oh well! Bike still rides!
That is the first mod any bike needs. I dont know why people neglect on getting frame sliders. Thats the very first thing i got for my bike
Yeah I wish I had done it sooner!
Never had them never needed them, my first mod was skill building so i did not crash
I’m glad you got your Motorcycle fixed!! I can’t ride a motorcycle because of my cerebral palsy, I wish I could!! I love Flip-flops lol! Did y’all enjoy Christmas? I did!
I dropped my 600rr and the frame sliders saved me lol. Legg day lol 😂
Peter Garcia haha yeah they are important!!
My Dad used to have this in his bike they really are brilliant. Stops you scratching it is you slide or it falls.
Wish I had them on before!
i have a 2010 cbr600rr, apparently bikes looks identical, but your slidder kit it is mark for 2007 and 2008 models only, do you know which is the one i need for my 2010 model? tha ks
I have no cut frame sliders installed and my bike fell and it damage the engine it’s best if you cut the fairing
Oh wow! The way they bolt on though isn't different right? How would cutting affect if that doesn't damage anything when falling compared to these?
Hi im looking at buying these no cut frame slidders. Does anyone kbow if they will fit a 2009 cbr? I don't see much difference between the 2008 and 2009 models
I would think they would fit, could always return them if they don’t.
I think you guys have left and right slighter on wrong side. My CBR has right side longer than left. You probably got new bike by now :D
This is the right orientation! But I still have the bike lol, just has a few battle scares lol!
Is that "double bubble" windshield? What brand? How do you like it so far?
amzn.to/3fKSruW
Mine is similar to this one
Hmmm, where was Brian when all this happened?
amill1563 Still in the house gearing up! Lol
Was probably bowing in reverence to the r6 ;)
Your bike is in GP shift?
What is GP Shift?
Amigo soy de México sabes cuánto lleva en total de refrigerante una CBR 600rr año 2007? Saludos
Thanks for checking out this bike video! These are a must!
Que onda bro me parece que 3 litros llevan también tengo cbr 600 año 2009, he visto videos de altas cc y mas o menos son 3 litros al igual que el aceite, pero habrá que investigar saludos
@@YahirVillagrana I don’t know what you are saying or asking 😂 there’s a language barrier here!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Hello don't worry, the colleague asks how much antifreeze he takes to his cbr 600 motorcycle
Greetings from México
@@YahirVillagrana Oh ok! Thanks for helping!
Will these fit on the 650f
I would assume so, but I'm not sure how the fairings are on that bike. Do you see bolt spots that you could use?
Will your replace or repaint the damaged parts?
Probably not. It's not too noticeable
Does your slider rotate around? Mine isn't too stiff, but they rotate. I checked the tightness on the bolt that goes inside the slider, and its definitely tight. Just curious if that is by design.
When I low sided years ago I slid on the left side and my left fairing was damaged and I had to replace the left signal. The front fairing still has a chip missing on the left side. The rear fairing is scratched, but nothing a sticker over the scratch can't fix..... I had to replace the stator cover as well. After that I got sliders put on.
I "fell" over the other week on the right side while practicing really low speed turns. With my sliders on my bike incurred no damaged other than scratched sliders. But it did seem to want to top over to the tank. I kept it high enough and it never touched.
I always felt weak because I had a hell of a time trying to lift the bike upright.
These bikes are heavy to lift for sure! Mine get tight and nothing rotates. But I know some do. Great product to have for sure! My brother dropped his in the garage once and nothing got damaged because of the sliders!
1:01 Maddie!
Oh yeah!!
Frame sliders are only good for tip overs, they do more damage than good to the frame in an actual get off.
Or dont drop your bike lol
Accidents happen, I was inside..
