When I got my bike, I was looking for frame sliders and they gave me the Kawasaki catalog and man 240 bucks for frame sliders from kawi, no thanks, I like the shoguns, first bike, glad to be back on two wheels.. it’s a feeling of freedom and happiness I can not explain!

Will the shogun frame sliders fit on my Kawasaki ZZR 250? I can´t find any frame sliders for my motorcycle. I hope this wil fit, beceause the ninja 250 is on the list of Shogun and the ZZR 250 is just the older version of the ninja 250. But I want to be sure.

It depends on the layout of the bike, but generally if you have the greater coverage of crash bars, you don't need frame sliders. You might still want axle sliders though. -DrewZilla

Hey guys! Would you recommend the PUIG sliders (Either Pro or R12) for someone who uses a ZX6R for commute? Someone stole my Shogun sliders and I'm going to replace them but I'm stuck between the PUIG and the Yoshimura.

All frame sliders we offer for your bike require cutting a hole in the fairing on each side. You have to decide whether you want to drill through your fairings in order to protect your frame or whether you want to keep your fairing intact and go without frame sliders. -DrewZilla

Now, I think they are called k sliders? I heard they are better at keeping your bike from flipping and protect the oil, alternator, not just the frame. True or was I misinformed?

Generally no, but it really depends on the design of the sliders, how they attach to the frame, and how the bike falls. -DrewZilla

Frame sliders are smaller and are generally designed to protect the frame. Crash bars are larger and are generally intended to protect more of the bike. -DrewZilla

man, sure wish i had those puig sliders with the rubber nubbins on my bike when i crashed. frame slider went right into my knee and shattered my kneecap to pieces

Why is the pair in different sizes? One taller than the other?
Most motorcycles are actually asymmetrical, so the frames are slightly different on each side. If the mounting point on one side sticks out farther than the mounting point on the other side, the sliders will be two different lengths. That way, the ends of the sliders stick out the same amount on each side. Hope this makes sense! -DrewZilla

Cruisers typically don't utilize frame sliders for crash protection. The closest you would find would be crash bars.

In _Castilian_ Spanish, yes...but this Puig is from just outside Barcelona in Catalunya, where Catalan is the regional language.
