I reallly enjoy these vlogs!!! Thanks soooo much!!!! its soooo therapeutic at the same time im learning what to do for my lil container balcony garden.
I said it aloud and then came to the comments. I should’ve known Broke, with the Bachelors, would give the answer. Haha! I love this community. Great job, Asia. 🧡👩🏽🌾🥕
Consider composting over the Winter. The heat generated by the compost melts ice and snow, making it easier to turn the pile and add scraps. By Spring, you'll have nutrient rich material for your garden.
❤❤❤ I love watching your videos. You are so welcoming; feel as though I am there. I plan to asap start growing food. Just so glad to see you wearing your gloves. I'm a retired nurse, and I see u scratch a bit on your face. Please be careful; your skin can be more sensitive than you think, it's our largest organ.....take care: wash your hands before touching your head and neck. Much love! Much success @❤
Thank you recommending sage and stone channel. I’m really enjoying her channel and your herb journey. I’m trying to do more herbal remedies also. I’ve learned a lot from you! Thank you
Good morning! When I am re-hydrating hydrophobic soil I put it in a larger container (e.g. plastic shoe box, plastic tote) that way you can water all of the soil at once. I leave the water in there until it soaks up and that way I don’t have to keep going back to see if the water was soaked up on the bottom. Happy Planting this fall. Watching you while I do my fall chores.
Hi Asia, how areyou doing. I am all finished with my housing project in Michigan. So I'm planing for our next summer's garden. We had lot's of trees in the back. Huracane Helene took care of seven trees in my yard and four very large tree's that blocked all the sun light from getting to the ground in the yard. 😁 So, with a lot's of work I shold have a big garden in 2025!
Buy a gas powered leaf blower. We had an electric one for a while and I loathed it! 😂 Girl… I get it. I’m a teacher and this job is sucking the life out of me. We hardly ever have time to use the restroom during the day, so I barely drink anything. I love that you’re able to post more videos! All of my fall stuff is popping up! I have so many things right now. I can’t think of hardly anything I didn’t plant! 😂 I have pumpkins for the first time in my trellises! If you’ve had trouble growing those, try Seminole and tan cheese! I keep a kiddie pool in my garden with holes in the bottom and I dump my potting soil in it when I’m not using it. It makes it easy to mix up with fresh soil and amend.
Hey Asia, if the snails and slugs are giving you a lot of problems if you set a tub with a little beer in the bottom theyll crawl in there and not be able to get out (I do this in the spring) ut works tho
You mentioned in an earlier video wanting to do more diy type stuff. Try making soap! So fun, and you can tailor soap to suit you. You can use your oil infusions and essential oils and use fats that are available to you. ( I just made some soap using some lard I rendered myself.) There are soap calculators on line that help you develop soap recipes using what you have I love, love, love Elly's everyday soap making. She is so informative, and when she makes a mistake, she let's you know how she fixed it. I'm rendering some beef fat as we speak to make soap with that, to see what I like best. If you don't want to use animal fats, there are many vegetable alternatives.
I love your garden. I thought about using the grass clipping from the yard to put in the garden too. My only fear is the seeds and having to pull weeds. I may consider next year composting the grass and getting nutrients that way. Either way I love how you use the grass on your garden.
Hi Asia, love ❤️ your videos. I live in zone 6b/7a St.L, Mo. I bought a plastic collapsible kitty litter container to water 💧 from the bottom. It's easy to collapse and put away.
I am not a water drinker either so my doctor said to put Crystal Light Liquid drink mix in it which flavors it. She further said the even with the Crystal Light in it that it is still considered to be water. Try it --- the flavors are really good.
Good morning Ms Asia. What's in the white shed. I have to go to my mother's and clean out her three sheds. If you clean yours out you're definitely going to inspire me to go clean out Mama's.
Shalom Ms. Asia, good morning 😊. As usual love the gardening tips. The best things life are free, I love me some bargains 😂. It soo pretty out. I work early mornings shift ( 2am-11am), I do get to see the sun raise, but I'm usually working. I would love to still in my garden and chill. What you do is sooo relaxing to me. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼. Have yourself a beautiful blessed weekend 🤗.
I am so inspired by your comeback garden. I have had a whole lot of things happen. I moved a couple of surgeries. This month some surgery but I am going to get back to gardening and I mean it. I am in zone 9B so the heat and dryness is my beast but I am up for the challenge.
With the red pepper in the chicken feed it’s a dust that will probably settle to the bottom. If oil isn’t bad for chickens then maybe using oil in the pepper jar will help it adhere to the feed better. It will also insure even coating and distribution to all the birds. But I don’t know ‘if’ or ‘what kind’ of oil is good for chickens. Because I’m a beginner scientist and I’m just guessing! 🤣🤣🤣👩🏾🦱
Another great video thank you for sharing 😊 how big is your back yard? We are almost done building our new home and I am hoping to put a garden in next year, not sure if I’m going to do garden beds or planters, yet 🤷♀️ I’m planning to only plant what I can, can and preserve because we have long cold winters here in Canada 🇨🇦, hope you have a wonderful day 😁
Hi Asia. Good video. Nothing more satisfying than getting something finished. I want to address the problem you had with things not thriving in one of the beds. The one you moved plants from & replaced some. Do you research companion planting? Some plants cannot be planted together which could have been the problem. Then, there are plants that thrive with certain other plants. Just food for thought.
Awesome job gardening your fruits and your other plants. I like how you take care of your plants in the greenhouse including your chickens. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
Good afternoon, Asia. I love your garden. I'm new to gardening, and I would like to buy your black garden bags for planting. Where can I find them? Thank you very much.
You're getting so much done! You are such an inspiration to me. I look forward to each and every one of your posts. You keep me motivated. Thank you for sharing with us. 💜
I handpick them but I do not spray. There was point in this year when my job was overwhelming and this is how this happened 🤣. I normally would have been handpicking them daily.
To revitalize soil, it is best to dump the soil into a container to throughly mix the fertilizer and rehydrate. 🍓🍓
I reallly enjoy these vlogs!!! Thanks soooo much!!!! its soooo therapeutic at the same time im learning what to do for my lil container balcony garden.
Hydrophobic, when the soil repels water
I said it aloud and then came to the comments. I should’ve known Broke, with the Bachelors, would give the answer. Haha! I love this community. Great job, Asia. 🧡👩🏽🌾🥕
I learned something new here today thanks
Hydrophobic soil (repels water)adding a little dish soap helps as well
Great job getting work done... I cant wait to see them strawberries hanging down in the greenhouse.
Ooooh... you have good neighbors! I love just sitting by my fire pit and listening to an audio book. Sooooo relaxing!

Good morning. ☀️…. Fire pit sounds great…

Hello Asia, I am hoping to get some of the strawberry plants i hope I am not too late.
Dang I missed the strawberries 🤦🏾♀️

Thank you for sharing with us. 💜
I just love your videos and where did get your Gorila Wagon cart from? I have looked everywhere!!!
Thank you! I got them from Lowe’s.
👍🏾❤️
Have you ever used sluggo to deter slugs? I have an issue with snails & it works for me
You plan to make your own hot pepper flakes for the chickens?
Yep! I normally powder them b/c it wasn’t meant for them but next year I’ll just crush the peppers after I dehydrate them.
What happened to your ginger plants?
Good afternoon, what are the name of your strawberries?❤️
So Asia. I see that pest are eating your brassica leaves up!! Do you just let them do it without trying to use any type of spray?
I handpick them but I do not spray. There was point in this year when my job was overwhelming and this is how this happened 🤣. I normally would have been handpicking them daily.
Hydrophobic (scared of water) 😅
