Hello everyone, just a tip for when you reach iraq. Get out the airport by walking and then get a taxi, the taxi's from the airport are really expensive but the ones on the street are very cheap!

Say the culture of this country makes girls honored in better places and spend more time at home with relatives and family instead of strangers, hookahs and the street.

Shock horror: most places in the world are peaceful, it's just the US have made us think they're bad places throughout
I love how there's so many artisans making and selling their goods directly. This alone is a worthy reason to visit.

Can’t tell you how jealous I am, my family is from Karrada, Baghdad (18:03) but I’ve never been able to visit my homeland because of all the tension. This video gave me hope I’ll be able to visit soon!

The media doesn’t paint the people of Iran negatively, however the society and the country overall is under control by a Islamic oppressive regime. I would argue the media gives a fair picture of the regime, it’s an extreme dictatorship.

I served in Iraq from August 2007 - June 2008. I have always had a strong interest in going back and seeing the country from a completely different perspective. I'm glad things seem so much better there.

I have just watched the first minutes abd I feel sorry for the English of people, the cab driver told you 14 then he noticed he meant 40, also your friend Raed meant Iraqi Dinar or IQD was equal to 3.3 USD in the past not 33 and now 1 USD equals 1500 IQD not 150. It's the hospitable culture. Same for Syria and other countries in the Middle East. He could have been from the US and they would probably have treated him as a valued guest. This is a reminder to us in the West as well. When people from the Middle East pay a visit, wish them welcome.
