    Hello everyone, just a tip for when you reach iraq. Get out the airport by walking and then get a taxi, the taxi's from the airport are really expensive but the ones on the street are very cheap!

      At night, men go to street cafes and women go to malls.
      just search Iraqi malls and you will see they're full of them.
      This is not Afghanistan, women here study, drive, work...etc.

    I served in Iraq from August 2007 - June 2008. I have always had a strong interest in going back and seeing the country from a completely different perspective. I'm glad things seem so much better there.

      @@user-du4ti4om1t stationed in Balad, but flew all over the country. Primarily down to Liberty (Baghdad Airport), Green Zone, and Tallil.

I have just watched the first minutes abd I feel sorry for the English of people, the cab driver told you 14 then he noticed he meant 40, also your friend Raed meant Iraqi Dinar or IQD was equal to 3.3 USD in the past not 33 and now 1 USD equals 1500 IQD not 150. I wish you a nice journey and if you would like to visit us in Basra you are so welcome, me and my family and friends will be very happy to join us one day

    The people there are wonderful and see how caring they are in strangers. I did not expect Iraq to be like this. I will visit Iraq soon. I am trying to learn some Arabic words in order to visit all Arab countries

      It's the hospitable culture. Same for Syria and other countries in the Middle East. He could have been from the US and they would probably have treated him as a valued guest. This is a reminder to us in the West as well. When people from the Middle East pay a visit, wish them welcome.
