Amazing video!👍👏 I just began my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They have an incredible range of digital comics for every genre, including the hard to find ones. Lifetime updates too!😁
You're right! A 3.5 to a 4, the most if the person from CGC is in a good mood! Otherwise, it could be a 3 to a 3.5 respectively!
Thank you for sharing, keep doing what you do!!!
Wow, fantastic video. Thanks a lot!
Super helpful, totally worth watching
Was wondering why anyone would submit an AF 15 to PGX in the first place and then you mentioned that the museum where it was displayed is University of Oregon in Eugene, OR. Seller is also in Eugene, OR. Well, that's where PGX is located. So, the owner probably opted simply to walk this into the PGX office rather than risk sending the book through the mail to CGC or CBCS. Not what I would have done, but ... whatever.
I think the seller did very well with this book.
I think they wanted that museum stuff mentioned also to make it seem more special. CGC and CBCS would not have notated that.
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing
That’s fantastic, thanks for sharing
Cool series! Keep them coming
wow, great video. thanks so much
Great video as always, keep up the great work
no way cgc would grade AF 15 a 5.0 me thinks more like a 3.5. Really risky buy.
great content. ty
20k stan lee was relisted
The buyer probably didn't realize that was the 2014 ASM #1. LOL
Am I the only person who does not like signed books? I assign no additional value to them and, frankly, actually assign *less* value because it defaces the cover. 🤷♂
Yep. Precisely how I feel.
Agree
I love signed books. I think it makes them special and more rare if the creator, artist, actor who portrayed the character or someone who worked on the book signed it. Plus if you have it done at a con you get to meet and interact with them. I will add I would not have like Kelsie Grammer sign an X-Men 1 or something like that, but a Stan Lee heck yeah.
@@mildomiller7386 Oh, I certainly get why folks like yourself like signed books, and if that's your thing, then definitely go for it! It's just that, for me, signed books are a negative, and actually interfere with my enjoyment of the book. So I'll never be in the market for any yellow labels!
I avoid them like the plague.
I totally agree with Stan Lee's CGC signature series yellow label. Very overpaid. I got Stan's signature on a similar book for about $300. But it did not have the extra quotation. 😮😊
4.0 maybe 4.5 but that would be stretching it.
3.5 for that AF 15. Big ugly tear on the back.
I’m figuring 3” of tears. That’s quite limiting.
How come books that are cleaned and pressed, not considered restoration or restored by cgc. They are by definition
noun
1.
the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition.
I guess they must be making alot of money from people to either press or resubmit the same book over and over
It’s become an industry standard and they cannot detect it with any degree of accuracy.
If you see the barcode on the back label, it’s usually a newer label
No way that is a 5.0 I agree with you 4.0 maybe a 4.5
There shouldn’t be a PGX discount. I’ve resubmitted More then one PGX to CGC and got the same grade. And it’s AF15 a grail
Lot's of sales on ebay that doesn't make sense. I just look at them as some sort of a scam and move on.
I detest signatures. Raw and clean please!
This comic book game is a joke
