That's adorable, what a great idea. And you can keep pet items in the little storage bins. I'm impressed! The best I could come up with was a coffee station. LOL
I once made a puppet theater for my grandkids out of an old TV stand. I put 3 boards together for a see through box and a tension rod and curtain. The puppets were housed below. I painted the sides with chalked paint. They liked it. Got the stand free
That flip was a great idea! I have seen drawers turned into pet beds, but with the storage baskets, you can put in treats and toys. Also, being on wheels, the bed can be relocated to other parts of the house or patio. If you find a larger project, you can make it into a "hubby" bed. My wife would buy one. Just kidding.😀
LOL Cute! I was thinking (for myself because I need one in a small space) putting a slightly bigger base on it and making it a rolling spice rack (keeping the video holders and adding another plus some dowels) and shelves for my cookie sheets and cake pans. I just love creativity! Keep it up you guys!
You two are just so stinking creative! I love that you made a cozy little nook for the fluffy family members. Perfect transformation from dated to functional. Fun fact, we owned a VCR and still had tapes until about 3 years ago. Finally replaced most things on DVD. Now that's just about obsolete too 🤦♀️🤣 but pets never go out of style!
Microwave cart, I'd have kept all the doors and the VCR shelves too for cling wrap or paper plates etc, but I gotta say, to the first part, I still have over 500 dvds and plan to still collect more...
Incredible Video! I love that you waited until the reveal to show the actual transformation. I never would have guessed. This video had such a natural flow to it. Funny how VHS tapes are becoming very valuable these days. Well done! Barry
I could not wait to see what you would do with this!! I had to cheat, and look ahead: Amazing! Fabulous! Is there no end to your creativity?!? And... I'm so happy to see the Sun 🌞 shine on your workshop today!
I actually refinished one of these last year and now it’s a stand for my aquarium! The shelf makes for good storage with baskets full of the food and water additives, and the underneath cabinet I use for the larger items like my bucket, siphons, and extra lights/filters/ decorations etc.
P.s. the wheels are a fantastic touch if you put an aquarium on the top because if I ever do a deep clean or a big water change I can wheel it into my kitchen next to my sink and then wheel it right back to where it goes. Highly recommend turning these old tv stands into a tank stand!!
🔥😵🔥 Hahaha.... LOVE it! Of course, my mind goes first to a bar cart BUT it's too low ....they'll have to add legs. It is PERFECT for a pet bed. Great job, you two! And I have to say Jim, you are a master at delivering the Hook! Dani and I both lack that clear and concise directness that you possess. Pops has it (he was a newscaster and DJ on radio for a few years) but he refuses to narrate on our videos. Anyways, great project and great video! - Sherry
How cute! Now will that house your pet? Just curious. If not, I think this would be very sellable. People love their pets and love having them close by.🐶🙂👍 It's interesting that you say obsolete. I still have a small TV and a DVD/VCR player and I can play my CD's on it. "If it ain't broke, don't throw it out." 😉
Our one and only doggo passed a number of years ago, but still holds a place in our hearts! Once things settle down a bit, we'd like to look for another dog! Thanks Holly!
I have a stand like this that my parents have had Atleast since I was born. A couple of years ago I refurbished It into a stand for my little cousin, but now we have all of our TVs mounted and It doesnt fit in her room, so it’s just been sitting on our patio for the last year or two
Whenever I see a wooden ( real wood) entertainment center , I depending how the layout is , I wanted to make it into a closet , add a bar when tv is supposed to be and use drawers and it shelving for storage
Will I would turn it into a folding table for sewing, arts & crafts, make a bedstand, or a side stand, outdoor potting table, a rolling kitchen cart. There are multiple use for a stand like that.
I wondered if you have done any stands similar to this but with the swivel on top. I purchased a White Clad one solid oak for $20, 6 months ago that I was gonna start this spring. The swivel tops hardware does not go straight thru the top of the cabinet so I don't know how to remove from top of cabinet. I don't plan to reattach after I repaint it so I don't care if hardware or even if top piece of wood is destroyed, but would prefer to keep it in good condition for something else. TIA if you have tips

That was rude. And anyways, sometimes you need to show a little appreciation for the people that put AOT of time, work, and often their own money to give viewers and DIY's like us IDEAS. Use it to your advantage and upcycle a higher quality piece of furniture if that's what you so desire, and don't make such pretentious comments.

So cute pet bed!
Thank you Cathy!!!
I think you two did a fantastic job
Thank you!
Brilliant piece of work. Love watching you. Greeting from Pretoria, South Africa.
Welcome and Thanks!
So fantastic. Cats love to go inside things, and their own bed! Kitty Castle, Cat Couch, cozy Kitty Corner…❤️
Thank you!!!

Cindy's been wanting to do one of these for quite some time! Thanks!!!!
Cool. I thought it would be a coffee bar or have an electric fireplace in it. Never thought about a pet bed!!
Thanks Mary!
great idea! leashes, treats, etc in the basket = one stop pet station!!
Cindy has wanted to do one of these for awhile! Thanks Velma!
I always love to see how Cindy cleans the pieces so well.
She does! Thanks Catherine!
BRILLANT!!!! Honestly, I thought it was going to be a bar or drink station, but you guys COMPLETELY went outside the box. I LOVE IT!!
Thanks!!!

I like your videos...unpretentious, educational, no distracting frills. And your results look great!
Thanks so much!
So cute....My cat would love it. The baskets make the look modern and fun.
Thanks Mary!!!

Thanks Jenn! We kinda went from VHS to online and skipped the whole DVD thing!😂
@@FurnitureWarriors super smart!
So clever! Definitely a creative way to repurpose with a furry friend benefitting.
Thank you!!!
Thats a cute idea! I wonder if my poodles would get on it? They like my bed the best! Lol
They always like the "human" bed the best! Thanks Vickie!
What a cute little pet bed. A great use of this old kind of out-dated cabinet. Good job!
Thank you! 😊
Wow what a great transformation. You'd never know what that cabinet used to be. As always, great job Jim and Cindy. 😊
Yes once you repurpose something it can be for whatever your heart desires 💚
Only limit is the imagination!😂
OhMyGoodnessss🐶🐱🐰🐷What a cool cabinet for a sweet pet!!! I Love the gray stripes with the matching baskets and pet bed!!! Love!!!!💙❤️💙

Awesome! Maybe we should say "almost obsolete".😀Thanks Emily!
Now that's what I call upcycling. 😻
Thank you!!!
That's the kind of Peace I've been looking forward to put a TV on
They're not very common anymore..... Thanks Debbie!
Very clever! You’ve got me thinking now, since I have at least one of those hanging out in my basement. Thanks!🌸
You’re welcome 😊 Thanks Deborah!
Great transformation of an obsolete table! I would absolutely make one of these for my fur babies!!
Thanks Lori!
That’s awesome! I did an old mid Century very heavy side table into a pet bed. I thought it was super cute
Cool! Thanks Ann!
What a smart and beautiful transformation ...Love this idea ... especially a special place to put the animal bed verses tripping over it 🥰👍
Thank you! 😊
Gteat job How! How cute!!!!....I thought it would turn out to be a book case or coffee bar.
Thanks Karen!!

I would add casters & make it a coffee/tea cart or a bar. But I also love the pet bed idea, & pet toys could go in the baskets.
There are casters on it! Great idea for the coffee bar! Thanks Evie!
A bar on wheels 😊
Looks great!

Yes it would! Thanks!
A drinks cabinets or bar cart
