Mine has evicted many many Black Widow spiders. It's killed a few. 😒 It's also killed the abominations known as brown widow spiders. Dispatched rattlesnakes with it too., they were beyond medical help and dying in pain. Hello from San Diego California.
hell ya brother that was the best cold steel pocket knife i had right there but i had the bowie style tip one and now my stepdad has it and its like the main knife he uses now that cts xhp steel holds up incredibly well

I just got that knife a couple weeks ago. Half serrated tanto point and I couldn't be happier! It's everything that's been said about it and then some. So now, I find myself watching recon 1 videos every time I get the chance. Great video too btw...
Actually the backspacer is aluminium. For what I heard, they went without the liners, because as they tested it the blade broke. Never once the handle. So basically before you break the handle you snap the blade off 😂
With that grind it actually looks more like a traditional Japanese tanto blade shape. They were more rounded like that kind of.

I never found the American Tanto style useful, but this with the reprofiled belly looks much more useful.
