I am on the side that all games should have a 60fps mode available for consoles along with the 30fps 4K option. After I bought my PS5 and started playing some of my games in 60 fps with good enough graphics there is really no excuse for games to come out with only the 30fps cap, I for one prefer smooth gameplay over good graphics. But that's just my opinion.

Its not really developers. What has happened is gamers and the community have asked for better graphics, so yes while the Ps5 and Series X are powerful its mostly in the sense they'd play 60fps with what we had in the One X and Ps4 Pro days. But again when we as gamers ask for more, with a $500 price tag on a console you can't get much unless your willing to pay. And people like me would rather there be a 30fps game with life like graphics for 300-500 dollars then pay 1k for 100fps. Its very simple, but often overlooked. I've said this before in other places. We should just NOW be leaving the One X and Ps4 Pro days in terms of graphics fidelity and resolution. We had 30fps 4k on the One X and on the Pro with last gen but now barely hit just 1440p 30fps sure the graphics are better but thats the key. Also why make fancy TV's if the resolution is going to have to be scaled back. I say more 30fps games more 4k games. Unless we revert out minds back to 2020 and keep graphics that way then we can exceed even 60fps every time.

30fps is gross and horrid when turning the camera. I would rather always prioritise 60fps minimum and the scale effects on console from there. Targeting 60fps should be the new industry baseline standard.

Was hopeful that NT was taking longer than usual to make a bigger & more special game. It seems like what’s actually happening is more incompetence from Phil & his studios. That studio founder took his 20 million dollar personal payout & has been on vacation ever since. Thankfully a few Xbox studios are competent but most aren’t . These studios aren’t hungry as they have a permanent udder to siphon an easy paycheck from. It’s more funny than sad , at this point 🤣

Sony can get 60 fps or performance mode options on their exclusives, why can't Microsoft, guess they either don't give a crap or they suck.
