The Zeblaze ARES is a nice, thin, fully waterproof (3ATM) functional rectangular smartwatch that does a lot of things with a well designed UI (User Interface). You have access to various sporting activities (no GPS) including swimming. With a small selection of downloadable watch faces from the tethering app, you can configure the ARES to your liking. A nice touch is the live graphs chart showing heart rate readings over time right on the watch. For a basic health/fitness smartwatch with rugged, solid looks, the Zeblaze ARES fits the bill.

Nice idea but I doubt I'll have time for that. Generally the few comparisons I do are for Android smartwatches as there's large interest in those watches over all the others.

How on earth do you not get more views??? I've been watching you for so many years but like, often times you have the only review for so many of these like really nitche or strange watches. Also on a side note, I'm curious how you get so many of these watches? Is it a partnership with banggood or are you able to subsidize the cost with monetization?
Thanks for the feedback. It's all of these ways I get watches. Most are through partnership, some are subsidized and a few I buy outright because I know you need to see them. Got one I'm working on right now that's a proof-of-concept technology warping of cellular data as we know it. I was able to get the prototype to help troubleshoot in the USA and to do an intro review, but this puppy demands a grand review, including packaging. So I'm buying a production unit from them (using my discount coupon, of course) so I can really show how it works. I actually need two of them to demo properly, so it's worth the investment. Most of all I live in joy and enthusiasm about these watches and everything just unfolds naturally from there.

Yea, it's showing its age. I hear there's a newer version coming out soon. Hope they send me one for review. It's been a long time since a new Ticwatch. I miss their original design with the tickle spot.
Out of four leds (presuming the one in center is sensor) why are only 3 works? I thought mine is broken but in all reviews it’s the same. Any ideas?

Sorry, I don't check them for calls. I just do basic unboxing and note if it has that capability. Too complex to test each of them.

Does the watch have vibration AND sound (bleep) alerts?
Just vibration. Usually the ones that also support Bluetooth calling also have system sounds along with vibration.
My watch had good brightness, but today it appeared without much lighting, it lost brightness, I have restarted but it remains the same, it has not happened to you?
See if you can adjust the brightness from inside the app if you can't get it to change in the watch. I haven't seen this issue on these watches.

I bought the watch. the pedometer is wrong, overcounting. pulse and blood pressure are erroneous. bluetooth sometimes has connection problem. nice sides, good shape. the screen is fine. Battery life is long, because bluetooth is not connected.

And well done at that! Too bad Casio never really got into smartwatches or they could have a huge line of successes by now. They were king of the digital watches in their day. I still have a few here, and with fresh (replaceable) batteries, they still work!
