it is because they are not really crabs. They are more closely related to arachnids such as spiders, ticks and scorpions.
They're the ancestors to Spiders I believe, spiders evolved from them, or some did.
I’d call them ocean insects more than crabs cuz they’re not actual crabs. They’re more closely related to spiders and scorpions.

How difference does it make to be more human? We human eats everything that exists on earth including earth substances (minerals in clay), insects, maggots (French),ferret feces (coffee beans), monkey brains, decaying matters (preserved), human placenta …and more. Animals only eat for their survival, but we also eat for nutrition, for enjoyment, and for showing off someone’s wealth. That makes, I guess, us the Top of the Food Chain on earth!
