The modpacks try to make the end feel really dangerous and lush like the nether is nowadays. The end is like a lonely place disconnected from everything else. So lots of biomes are needed, but the end can't just be covered in stuff everywhere.
For the fletching table, I'd suggest making them used to add different heads to basic arrows. Amethyst arrows could break into smaller damage dealing shards, wind charge arrows could fly in a straight line, diamond arrows do more damage, etc
I know I'm a bit behind. But I actually love this concept. You could make it instead of diamond tipped arrows be copper. Add feathers, wind rods, and copper you have an expensive arrow that shoots straight (or maybe just further away) and deals more damage. There's an abundance of other concepts that could be applied to the bow or arrows themselves, but this alone sounds amazing to me.
I feel like the fletching table should just be a crafting table alternative solely used for arrow making. You could make different kinds of arrows and even the potion tipped arrows in a crafting table type of ui.
One thing I’d like for villager trading is a more realistic economy. For example, farmers buy seed and sell crop, similar to how the smiths buy materials and sell tools, weapons and armor. We could also add things like miner villagers that buy mining tools like minecarts and pickaxes and sell ore, lumberjacks that buy axes and sell wood, hunters/warriors that buy weapons and sell mob drops. It makes for a cool economy that could theoretically exist without the player, and that the player can utilize to progress through the game.
I just don't see any reason Mojang doesn't give more personality to villagers. If they had a reputation system for villagers in Vanilla just like they do in the Dawn Craft mod pack it would open up so much exploring and give you a lot of challenges to do.
Idea for how the villager concept can work Villigers don't have job blocks anymore. Instead, they have items that you give them to assign jobs, and some will have jobs when you first discovere the village (they will all have menus to unasign them and do whatever it is they do) In order to claim a village you must put a banner on the town hall and it will randomly assign an unasign design to you and your village this banner will be dubbed your village banner and if you want to claim a secondary village you use one of those banners and when assigning a job with said banner it will give you 2 options the caravan merchant and the village chief Butcher: Assign job: hatchet Shop inventory: job standard Secondary function: exchange any food for emeralds Passive bonus: cooking your raw food (he'll need a furnace) Cartographer: Assign job: pen Shop inventory: job standard Secondary function: giving the chords of different structures Passive bonus: none Cleric: Assign job: empty bottle Shop inventory: job standard Secondary function: instant brewing Passive bonus: like a witch but good Farmer: Assign job: that one L shaped tool with a name with multiple meanings Shop inventory: job standard Secondary function: none Passive bonus: tending to the crops Fisherman: Assign job: fishing rod Shop inventory: job standard - fish + fishing lures Secondary function: none Passive bonus: he will start fishing and putting all his catches in a nearby chest Fletcher: Assign job: arrow Shop inventory: job standard Secondary function: tipping your arrows (the fletching table can tip your arrows but will cost you the potion) Passive bonus: he has a bow and isn't afraid to use it Librarian: Assign job: book Shop inventory: job standard + every enchantment book Secondary function: enchanting Passive bonus: he will fill in empty bookshelves with random enchantment books Mason: Assign job: chisel Shop inventory: job standard Secondary function: reinforcing your blocks Passive bonus: he will go around building new houses for villagers but only where you assign him Shepherd: Assign job: sheers Shop inventory: job standard Secondary function: dying whatever you want without the specific dye Passive bonus: he will go around sheering sheep and putting the wool in a nearby chest with enough room Blacksmith: Assign job: hammer Shop inventory: a combination of all the smiths Secondary function: repairing your stuff Passive bonus: he will carry a sword and he isn't afraid to use it Guard: Assign job: sword Shop inventory: none Secondary function: you can change his weapon and armor just make sure he has a sword Passive bonus: he will wonder around the village protecting it Ranger: Assign job: bow/crossbow Shop inventory: none Secondary function: you can change his weapon and armor just make sure he has a bow/crossbow Passive bonus: he will wonder around the village protecting it Adventurer: Assign job: map Shop inventory: none Secondary function: can have his armor and weapon changed Passive bonus: will leave and come back with everything it finds (yes you can randomly bump into your adventurer while adventuring) Caravan guard: Assign job: banner with sword imagery Shop inventory: none Secondary function: can have his armor and weapon changed Passive bonus: will follow the caravan merchant and protect them Caravan merchant: Assign job: village banner Shop inventory: literally everything Secondary function: you can change his armor and weapon Passive bonus: [single player] will wonder the world/previously loaded chunks and will return with a random amount of emeralds [multiplayer] will wonder the world/previously loaded chunks and players can interact with the merchant all sales made by the merchant will go straight to the village/you except for the sales where you were the buyer Village chief: Assign job: village banner Shop inventory: none Secondary function: you can change his weapon and armor and he will be able to tell you where each of your villagers are Passive bonus: will run the village in your absence according to how you want
Oh god no, it would make it just like Lego Fortnite. I just playing Lego Fortnite and thinking how much this system sucks and how much better it is currently in Minecraft.
1) 0:46 End Update: I totally agree that more content to the end is needed. Many people point out that Mojang should do something similar to the nether update, but in my opinion, the end shouldn't be handled in that. They should focus on updating the generation of the terrain (like for example having islands on different y levels and being able to generate on top of each other). With those changes plus a new biome or 2 could really make the end more interesting. 2) 2:32 A.I. Update: That's a pretty cool idea. Although it's not something we DESPERATELY NEED, it could help a lot to make the world of Minecraft more immersive and alive. They shouln't overdo this aspect though, because it could hurt the simplicity of the game and therefore, its identity for many people. 3) 4:04 Combat Update: Firstly, Mojang never said that 1.21 would improve the combat system, just that the update was about combat adventures and tinkering. I agree with you that being able to choose your playstyle should be the main focus in a theoretical combat update. Because of the backlash of 1.9 though, I'm pretty sure they will not change the combat system too much, if they ever change it again in the first place. If they do introduce it in the end, they will probably introduce it as an experimental toggle, like the villager trading rebalance and the bundle. Won't talk about the last 2 update ideas because I want to sleep. Good video, nontheless.
@@s66s46Mojang will not care about it and secondly Minecraft have the most bullshit type of community and if by God they did bring it it will be horrible or excellent in gameplay but to me I am just loosing hope because the game is now becoming a empty void of complete loneliness and emptiness it just not the same anymore.
My 5 updates. 1) Furniture and other decorations update, give me a chair I can sit in. 2) Aether/Sky Islands. Doesn't have to be an entire new dimension. Just increase world height and have it so they aren't created until after you defeat the End Dragon, gives another reason to obtain the Elytra. 3) Cooking update, new foods, crops and adjust the food system so you're more inclined to make more than just cooking beef or eating golden apples and carrots. 4) Magic Update. Doesn't have to be big or flashy. Implement wands that can be obtained as rare chest loot. Each wand has only one "spell" out of a possible dozen or so. Wands use durability but can be restored through either new ore or by "crushing" amethyst. 5)Exploration Update. Brings back the option for worlds to generate continents rather than 1 massive continent with large lakes. Introduces seasons into the game and a few new biomes as well as new structures like ruined castles or towers, random stone formations like Stonehenge and finally new endgame armor similar to Netherite but the sets would be made from new ores in the Overworld, End and Aether.
We need lanterns and torches to cast light as we hold them, and the ability to combine a lantern with a helmet to make a headlamp. Also copper weapons tools and armor. And iron, copper, gold, and stone arrow heads. And a double chest boat. And its a stretch, but give us the ability to make gunpowder base from coal using a brewing stand, that we can then combine with sand and paper to make TNT without having to confront violent mobs. Also make it so TNT doesn't destroy blocks, just breaks them. This would make them actually useful for mining.
i feel like the sophisticated backpack mod is one of the best ways to do a backpack mod because its got a very fair approach to upgrading the backpack like your equipment theres a couple of the upgrades the backpacks don't really need but it would definitely be amazing
On the point about having villagers fight for you, I don't think they'd add this as in Minecraft Legends (which took place years before Vanilla MC), what made the villagers separate from the illagers was that they were peaceful.
I really want an item black list, you could decide that you never want to pick up rotten flesh or diorite. that’s my brilliant idea that I’m surprised no one else has ever suggested
Different structures could have like different spell books that shoot different elements, nether fortress fire, ocean monument water, trial chamber wind, stronghold earth
The wind charge seems like a good start to this. Maybe they should do something similar with blaze powder or fire charges. It's a pretty simplistic and fun way to use magic that fits well with Minecraft.
Hi! I wanna say that an ai update would definitely be beneficial to the game, but I think it would work well with some other update, such as a Lively Update! It could change the ai, add ambience sounds to biomes, and add a lot more to the lacking biomes!
I think they could add a backpack, but it clashed with the chestplate (like elytra) to keep it balanced. Maybe you just can’t open it when it’s off, or maybe the stuff drops when you take it off.
1.22 should be “Beginning and End update.” Minecraft should focus on updating the overworld biomes to be more lively like deserts now have oasis’s and more useful mobs. The acacia biome could be updated to have more structures and plants and even unique ores etc. The second part of the update would be the End update where the possibilities are endless. They can add unique trees that give completely white wood which would incentivize players to go the end because I think we all want white or black wood. A different color water would be cool like a really light blue or even purple water which we could bring to the overworld
Yeah but an update that ambitious would end up being cave and cliffs 2.0 The reason we don't get 'big' or significant updates anymore is because they don't wanna risk ending up in that kind of situation one more time
@@natelederp yeah, I also think so. But most of the people in the community would be annoyed if there is another collection of updates that add the things announced for 1. It would kill the game. The best solution is delaying that update like, 3 years, so they can add everything. But that's less money for them. And well, they make incomplete updates so they can do another update in 10 years finishing the job, and that keeps the game alive. It's complex matter..
1:50 THIS. People don’t get that the End Is A VOID, It Is supposed to feel Empty, If you make It full of Forests and stuff like that It will just feel like a weird space biome
I think a barren purple chorus forest with chorus wood would work, and variation of it like a sparse chorus forest, but other then that it should remain barren
I'd honestly really enjoy an update focused on redstone and minecarts, and implements actual automation. A block that takes shovels, axes and pickaxes, and mines resources placed right in front of it, taking enchantments and item properties (mining speed and tier) into account when it does, which can be stuck in a minecart to mine blocks it drives past/into. Dispenser/dropper minecarts that work similarly (they could finally patch TNT-dupers bc dispenser-minecarts would function as movable dispensers). Give more functionality to furnace-minecarts and furnace-adjascent blocks (smoker and blast furnace), like one of them has increased fuel efficiency while the other has increased speed and acceleration, make minecarts linkable. Let boats have more than just chests (furnace-boats don't require you to row) and let them act similar to minecarts and with two different types (boats for power, rafts for double-chest storage or two function-blocks per boat but you can't make them move by themselves). That alone would probably add another layer to the game's tech-tree.
I got 2 more Updates The Lifecycle Update -Villagers travel between villages with camels, horses, donkeys or llamas -Seasons (Summer: longer daylight and animal ai goes to water more often, Autumn: leafes getting brown and leafes are on the ground, Winter: snow and shorter daylight, Spring: trees getting green leafes and flowers getting special texture, -Trees falling down and rotting (after some time despawning) -Sea level rising depending on rain The Revive Update: -Adding fireflies -Reworking the birch forest -Adding Mobs and Biomes which lost the votes
I like the idea of having new mobs introduced after defeating the ender dragon or having the mobs that spawn be more difficult like terraria. Could def improve late game by a ton
then they add a new armor trim that drops in a loot box like vaults with 0.69%. also they did this once and it's scrapped. Mob used to be able to check if there's a creeper near by but it's awfully lag
I love the villager update Idea, Imagine having villager made structures all around your world to make it more alive, and to get all of those structures, just grow a civilization of villagers.
They should lowkey add like an average looking minecraft house location that spawns and it’s really rare and inside the house 1 new “character” will spawn with it. Steve might spawn a wooden house, Alex might spawn a birch house, or a New Character who might spawn a dirt house and is a comic relief. What can these characters do? I’m not sure but I think it would be cool if these characters somehow explained lore of Minecraft or maybe what they’ve been through or how they ended up here. I say one of these houses spawn every 10,000 blocks with a “character” inside. Maybe you beat the end and he’ll give you something to do when you talk one of them. Going to all the 3 different houses/characters unlock you a special crafting recipe. And Also what if achievements did something when talking to one of these characters. I think I’d be pretty cool. Steve, Alex, Dirt Dude, and the reader.
There are snapshots for a combat updste actually, they're official and were made by Jeb and then posted on reddit. They add stuff like attack reach and stuff, very cool. Sadly the latest version came out in 2020 and was a fork of 1.16, however Mojang said they're still working on it so we should expect it soon
I'm all for a villager update! Give them more jobs and things to do. Let them have names and enhance their village by themselves, even allow some villagers to give out quests to give them more functionality. I like the Ideas of a backpack and a trash slot, although to prevent accidents, maybe a trashcan object instead? Other things I would like to see: More foods to make from vanilla items: Turning milk into cheese or butter, make Apple Pie (apples, wheat, sugar), Berry Pie (berries, wheat, sugar), Chocolate Pie (cocoa beans, milk, sugar, wheat), Chocolate Cake (cocoa beans, milk, egg, sugar, wheat), Burgers or Sandwiches (bread, cooked meat), Vegetable Soup (bowl, water, carrot, potato, beetroot, mushroom), Toast (put bread in a furnace), Jam (bottle, sugar, berries/apple), Juice (bottle, apple/berry/carrot), Chocolate Milk (milk, cocoa beans), Steak and Potatoes Meal (cooked steak, baked potato), pasta (wheat, water) Adding new seeds and crops for farming (I'd love to grow some rice, grapes, tomatoes, and cabbage, or even add an orange tree and a coconut tree, and add a tree specifically for apples)
Also idea about villages. Since we see more and more wild animals added farm animals such as pigs, cows, sheep... don't belong to nature anymore. At one point I'd like to see barns or something inside the village where you could trade to buy farm animals such as pigs, cows... you can also try to steal them but will get attacked by iron golem.
Backpacks, new dimensions with bosses, sort-by-name items, new ores, and new structures, make netherite mining less of a shore and less OP, making the elytra unable to have mending so the players will be willing to farm it so from time to time or the make it so hard to craft, the better optimization system
The thing about increasing mob difficulty after the Ender Dragon is defeated is that, in Terraria, hardmode includes even further gear progression that allows you to catch up to and overcome the new difficulty. Adding difficulty without anything to counter it will just lead to frustration from players not looking for difficulty and will result in people avoiding killing the dragon.
1:50 Yes the End is such a interesting dimension. The thematic elements of The End need to still remain intact if it gets updated. The music, the ambience, the desolate yet not lifeless nature, and the beautiful end poem makes The End truly unique. Making an update to such a unique aspect of the game in a way that is consistent to the current thematic elements will be fairly difficult, but not impossible.
4:31 you don’t need combat update. The last time people asked for a combat update, the most controversial update in the history of minecraft occurred, that split the community in half. 6:56 you don’t need a new inventory update, this would render shulker boxes almost completely useless. You don’t need a trash slot, that just adds a void that opens up so many issues. You can just use a flint and steel to delete items you don’t need. 8:35 you don’t need a villager update. The last time this happened, people spammed mending books for almost no cost, and pretty much any enchant book they needed, which made the game incredibly easy. Every single time the community ask for something like this, mojang completely ruins it by making them too overpowered, or too different. The end was probably going to get updated at some point anyway so I’m not going to talk about that. End raiding is probably one of my most favourite things to do in minecraft, and especially on hardcore on older versions like 1.12 because: - it’s very difficult to do it due to its own simplicity. - doing it in iron armour presents a fun and exciting challenge. - it’s something original left in the game, something that has not been completely bloated or broken. Updating the end breaks this challenge completely, and will most likely ‘put the final nail in the coffin’ for my motivation to play future Minecraft versions. Stop trying to make the game like terraria too, and just leave it alone. You have no awareness what ideas you are putting into players’ heads. Minecraft was unique and good due to its simplicity, and if you keep adding things like this, it removes that simplicity.
I want 1 single update. The Nature Update 1. Will add all 4 seasons 2. Will add new variety of crops 3. A new biome, or a revamp of badlands. 3.more farming equipment 4. New creatures, armadillo, raccoon, meerkat, giraffe , elephant, bear types. Any other ideas?
5:33 I beleive the statement the sword does everything okay to be false. It is the only melee weapon to do group damage. The slashing effect. Where axe, trident, mace ect only do damage to one mob at once. The mace AOE knock back doesn't do damage as well
On the AI improvements, I would also like to see life-cycles in mobs and plants, like how Minecraft dungeons has ghast nests and baby ghasts. Maybe some mobs grow old and die, and others breed naturally, making farming more interesting and a challenge. Maybe forests grow and shrink over time, depending on weather/climate. Or villagers teaching their juveniles how to do certain tasks and professions. I don’t know, just little changes that would make Minecraft’s world feel more alive and real.
I feel like the A.I update could really do a lot for villagers too, I recently built a village and used some Azaliea tree sprouts and their AI doesn't recognize them so they simply get stuck on them...
I feel like Minecraft could also use a story I think it would really make the game have more of a goal like once you beat the ender dragon or build the house that you really wanted or get full nether right armor there’s not much to do anymore but what if they add stories or even villager quests with voice lines! (Personally I would think it would be hilarious if they made the villagers to have the villager news voices, which is possible considering elemental animation has worked with mojang in the past
I'd like to see an End Update, but some other updates too. A Carpenter villager who can repair structures and add extra structures to a village would be fun. Clearing/Curing a zombie village and have a Carpenter villager fix the structures. I'd like to see farmers have better sense of their crops and hoe the soil. So lazy! There's gotta be a way for them to figure out a plot of land is theres, like a 5x5 areas around the water source nearest their workstation or something. I don't know. You know something everyone just accepts about the game but nobody never pushes the issue anymore? Minecarts and chunk loading. You can't make a long rail in minecraft. No long hauls. I'm sure it's a strain on memory to have the computer make a quick lookup of how long it would take it to pass through all those unloaded chunks before hitting the next event to wake it to load/unload something, then disappearing into the world of a number again to emerge in the next event. It'd just be nice if it felt like the minecarts were like real minecarts and not these weird things that are only so useful and reliable. We need to end the mob vote. In the last one, what percentage of the voters got to be disappointed? Why would you set yourself up to disappoint over 50% of your active participants? It doesn't sound like a smart decision unless your goal is to make people secretly hate Minecraft. If you must have a mob vote, please keep it to 2 options, that way less than 50% of your active fans are disappointed. We need LORE!!! I see a village. How did this village get here if nobody can build? Who built these monuments, and structures? Why are there ships and why can't I build one? Who built the desert temples? What were they like? Why are the structures in The End the way they are? There are so many things we need to care about with Minecraft. Give it to us Mojang. 😁
I have an idea for the stronghold and how you enter it but it might be a little hard to implement, the blocks of the stronghold could be unbreakable so you can only get in through the door but that is a new vault door where it needs 5 keys to open, these keys can come from structures that feel like side quests inside main ones, trial chambers, ancient cities, mine shafts, bashtion remnants, and ocean monuments. i would prefer constructive criticism instead of just criticism on this idea
I have 2 ideas for an inventory update that can be mid game but early game is players work and absolutely early game like as soon as you load in. First idea is bundles. They would be crafted with leather NOT rabbit hide and hold 64 or 128 items. (Thats great for early game clutter) HOWEVER, you can upgrade the size of the bundle with 4 rabbit hide making the bundle fit 256 or some other multiple of 64. I think this is a great way to give players an early game inventory manager, while also giving use to the rabbit hide (which i think is why the original recipe has rabbit hide). My second idea for mid to late game is an enchantment on Leggings called Deep Pockets. Deep Pockets would have 3 levels (Deep Pockets I, II, and III) and each levek would add 1 column (or 3 new slots) to the inventory. Think of a crafting table grid on the side of your inventory. When taking off the enchanted leggings, the items would pop out of your inventory and the slots would of course dissappear so i had another enchantment that would pair with it that could be called Zipper or Lining or something related to pants and pockets. The other enchantment would make it so whenever you took off the legging with items in the additional slots, they would stay with the pants. So you could have mutltiple enchanted pants that could have different items for different scenarios. Of course the second enchant is a risk-reward thing since if you lose a pair of pants, you lose the items with it so its risky to use, especially on your main armor. Although there would only be 9 extra slots, i think that will do wonders for imventories, especially in the late game. The best part is the enchantment could be more early game is you find it/enchant earlier. (I think it would make more sense for the enchant to be found in structures and villagets rather than in the enchantment table) Bonus idea: an enchant for shulkers called Funneling. It automatically fills stacks of blocks in your inventory if that block is found in a shulker box. No more needing to go through shulker boxes to refill on sand or some building block, it just refills it as you use it. Those are my ideas, have a good day.
I wish the trident was easier to obtain, whether that be through increased drop rates from drowned, found in chests, or even just made craftable. I know it can now be obtained from trial vaults, but it's still too rare and just not enough. The Impaling enchantment should also work like how it does in Bedrock and in the combat test snapshots, where it increases damage dealt to any mobs in water or in rain, as opposed to Java where it only works on aquatic mobs like the drowned or guardians. Or better yet, have Impaling work exactly like Sharpness but just renamed. Maybe also give the trident Looting, but that might be too much.
1:41 it should stay desolate though, like maybe a Dead Chorus Fruit biome or the Dead Desert which is just Endstone Sand, and also like some more variants of End Cities, and maybe the Enderlings from Minecraft Dungeons because those things were pretty cool, along with like a Void Oasis and also a Sea of Void (Void as in the liquid from Minecraft Dungeons) and like the Main Island looks cooler
About the end update It will be so cool if new biomes at end spawns only if you defeat ender dragon more than one time It will give you new resources, new biomes and increase the difficulty of mobs each fight as you said It cant be like big OP if we have a “wing upgrade” item which allows you to combine chestplate with elytras bc all the mobs will become tougher for example
I think the end update should be similar to going into hard mode in terraria, the ender dragon is such an easy boss, that it feels a little underwhelming after the 3rd fight. I think it be really cool if you in a way start all over again. Maybe there could be a new wood type in the end that’s as good as diamonds, and a new ore that’s better then netherite. There could be way stronger mobs and you could have a proper final boss, like the end storm or something.
My biggest concern for an update is surrounding the lore of the Warped Wart block in the Nether's Warped Forest. Still waiting for a good update that gives us an actual Warped Wart and the ability to craft Blue Nether Bricks with them. Perhaps this can be tied in to the End update, since only Endermen spawn in the Warped Forest?
I think they need to add a self enchantment update. Like where you could power up the player. For example, be able to do more damage from a regular punch, able to carry more storage, or able to jump higher too, like who knows? And then the spells and beacons would just stack on top of tnat
They probably never add it but a musket would fit very will. It can shoot gold and iron nuggets. Make the barrels a item that can only be found in the End or some other structure. Crafted with barrel with two iron over a stick and 2 wood.
I'm just waiting for 1.23. it's obviously a pretty lucky number, so maybe we'll get lucky with the "leftovers update" they've been talking about. Maybe "Lucky Leftovers update" since they like alliteration so much.
6:15, Arguably, 1.20 could be seen as the Quality of Life update. They fixed 10 year old bugs, reorganized the creative inventory, editable signs, universal dying, and even made simple storage containers with chiseled bookshelves and deco pots. Tho yes, inventory update does need to exist. It's very hard to do correctly. Though I think adding another inventory row than a backpack as well as the stack limit increasing to a higher number like 128 would help with the clutter. The bundle, once eventually implemented, will be another way to sort clutter especially if they add the upper stack limit.
I think an end update would be hard to make well. It needs to stay barren but for it to still be interesting maybe just add a few custom biomes, but minimal new mobs.
All the discussions about updates are cool, but we need to remember that Minecraft Java is extremely unoptimized and when you add these lots of things, only those with medium-end and high-end PCs will be able to actually enjoy the game.
If I could have just one last update to Minecraft, it would be the AI update to mobs. It would make everything so much more alive. I'm not a huge fan of being able to give jobs to villagers though. Things like terraforming should be done by the players, block by block. It's part of minecraft's charm
I think the end update is for sure something that’s coming soon, people been begging for an end update for years now I think since the nether got its big overhaul, I’m about done with the overwolrld update and the nether don’t need one either (when I say overworld I’m including the oceans as well even though I believe it could use a few updates as well but the end has remained the same since launch as the ocean atleast got an update, hope that explains my mindset)
Then the end that we have in the game shouldn't have an end islands, cities, obsidian pillars, and mobs. Your comment is incorrect. The end is not empty, it has layers, and it isn't completely dark. Infact I believe the end is more lit than night time overworld.
Great video, I also noticed you asked for some feedback on how to make your videos better, maybe add some jokes in the video to make it more entertaining
They should put elytra into the new ominous vaults in the end ships to give the player more incentive to go to the trial chambers, get the ominous key and then go to the end
I agree.. The end is lame. The danger of falling into the void, is not worth going there. Unless you want to build a farm that requires the unique features of the nether (always day, water, no creepers, shulker farm). Biomes and structures, ruins, and maybe add some ores / better armor and weapons only craftable. Combat with new weapons, with different uses and play styles. nice.. maybe even have the recipes built up over several crafts. So a standard sword has a base dmg of 4, then with each upgrade it gets stronger and stronger, maybe adds the basic sweeping effect at lvl 3.. The spear gaining reach. Axe classified as both a weapon and a tool, or making two different types of axes, one for wood, and then a battle axe. Trident opened up to have sharpness enchant or other damage modifiers. Ambience, mob variety, more difficult mobs after the ender dragon and such this sounds interesting.. maybe having a setting to turn that off, for players who don't want a challenge. Backpacks is probably my favorite part of Better Minecraft, its almost better than the Waystones. Villagers having actual jobs, that they do. and maybe fill a chest in their home with the stuff they craft. It seems like a source of fun, to figure out how to interact with them, in order to build a society, that thrives. Many players would love that.. + the farm potentials.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but once they eventually update the end, combat and inventory I will consider minecraft pretty much finished. I feel that outside of those 3 things they have fleshed out the majority of the game
Potions should be stackable, hitting through grass should be possible, adding different ranges with the available weapons, and nerfing end crystal pvp should all be considered if Mojang wants to improve combat.
I feel like The End must remain as a dark and desolate place, where the very few places of life and culture don't flourish but do clump together in the small area. Maybe create a brambled chorus fruit forest that looks overgrown and has small spikes you must avoid to not get some kind of withering-esque effect, Or more detail put into the end cities along with making them larger. It should feel like a place where life hasn't touched it in a long time.
They can atleast make the ender dragon fight a little but challenging like the behaviour of wither.I mean it's immunity explosion like but I also should be balanced so that it doesn't be a irritator for speedrunners.🎉🎉🎉
maybe if you do archeology or bring a sniffer to the end it can dig up old saplings and eggs of life that used to live there - and you could revive the end by planting them
@@Vickipirate12 I mean, if speedrunners don't want to be irritated then they chose a very strange job to do. Their entire life revolves around doing the most irritating of tasks to make a few less seconds appear on their timers
@@donutstudios6353 I could see that I suppose, but I feel like maybe they should create an alternative to trees. They just don't really feel right for the end, so maybe it could be like what Bamboo is and have its own thing going
4:56 Mace is blatantly better than a sword and literally every tool combined. Thanks to breach, it deals more damage to a player than a maxed sword does, not even mentioning the actual Mace fall accelerated damage, you would need only 5 blocks to take out a maxed player with it
@@N4STD Have you tried to kill someone in netherite armor before? I've heard horror stories of a fight between two people lasting upwards of three minutes just because of how hard it is to kill people anymore in this game. Maces ignore the stupid tankiness of netherite and punch straight to that crunchy health bar.
@@N4STD mace is literally a retextured sword, same speed, same mechanics. But thanks to the addition of Breach, which completely ignores 60% of armor, with strength 2 it would deal much more damage to the opponent with the same playstyle as you use the sword, making sword obsolete. And we aren't even mentioning mace exclusive fall damage, which has potential to one shot the opponent fairly easily
I want more trident enchantments. I don’t want to carry a sword or a mace or a bow or a cross bow EVER. I wanna use my trident for everything. I fucking love the trident.

With village update you talked about i feel like it would be fun to be optional which side you choose to support. Pillagers or Villagers.
I want a dark purple version of the cherry blossom, they already look very nice and I think they can look nice in a dark shade too.
1:50 FINALLY someone gets it!

The modpacks try to make the end feel really dangerous and lush like the nether is nowadays. The end is like a lonely place disconnected from everything else. So lots of biomes are needed, but the end can't just be covered in stuff everywhere.
Am I a joke to you’ btw I’m using my mom’s phone. I requested that update
I think crystals could be a thing for the end update
@@ThatsTheSpirit00 Ty bro it's become sort of a habit of mine to randomly think of Minecraft ideas lol
Im hoping for an aquatic predator, they could probaly just bring back the barnacle from the 2017 mob vote if they dont want to design anything new,
Yeah, the deep oceans are _too safe._ Drowned aren't enough of a threat.

WTF IS THAT HORSE DOING
Idea for how the villager concept can work
Villigers don't have job blocks anymore. Instead, they have items that you give them to assign jobs, and some will have jobs when you first discovere the village (they will all have menus to unasign them and do whatever it is they do)
In order to claim a village you must put a banner on the town hall and it will randomly assign an unasign design to you and your village this banner will be dubbed your village banner and if you want to claim a secondary village you use one of those banners and when assigning a job with said banner it will give you 2 options the caravan merchant and the village chief
Butcher:
Assign job: hatchet
Shop inventory: job standard
Secondary function: exchange any food for emeralds
Passive bonus: cooking your raw food (he'll need a furnace)
Cartographer:
Assign job: pen
Shop inventory: job standard
Secondary function: giving the chords of different structures
Passive bonus: none
Cleric:
Assign job: empty bottle
Shop inventory: job standard
Secondary function: instant brewing
Passive bonus: like a witch but good
Farmer:
Assign job: that one L shaped tool with a name with multiple meanings
Shop inventory: job standard
Secondary function: none
Passive bonus: tending to the crops
Fisherman:
Assign job: fishing rod
Shop inventory: job standard - fish + fishing lures
Secondary function: none
Passive bonus: he will start fishing and putting all his catches in a nearby chest
Fletcher:
Assign job: arrow
Shop inventory: job standard
Secondary function: tipping your arrows (the fletching table can tip your arrows but will cost you the potion)
Passive bonus: he has a bow and isn't afraid to use it
Librarian:
Assign job: book
Shop inventory: job standard + every enchantment book
Secondary function: enchanting
Passive bonus: he will fill in empty bookshelves with random enchantment books
Mason:
Assign job: chisel
Shop inventory: job standard
Secondary function: reinforcing your blocks
Passive bonus: he will go around building new houses for villagers but only where you assign him
Shepherd:
Assign job: sheers
Shop inventory: job standard
Secondary function: dying whatever you want without the specific dye
Passive bonus: he will go around sheering sheep and putting the wool in a nearby chest with enough room
Blacksmith:
Assign job: hammer
Shop inventory: a combination of all the smiths
Secondary function: repairing your stuff
Passive bonus: he will carry a sword and he isn't afraid to use it
Guard:
Assign job: sword
Shop inventory: none
Secondary function: you can change his weapon and armor just make sure he has a sword
Passive bonus: he will wonder around the village protecting it
Ranger:
Assign job: bow/crossbow
Shop inventory: none
Secondary function: you can change his weapon and armor just make sure he has a bow/crossbow
Passive bonus: he will wonder around the village protecting it
Adventurer:
Assign job: map
Shop inventory: none
Secondary function: can have his armor and weapon changed
Passive bonus: will leave and come back with everything it finds (yes you can randomly bump into your adventurer while adventuring)
Caravan guard:
Assign job: banner with sword imagery
Shop inventory: none
Secondary function: can have his armor and weapon changed
Passive bonus: will follow the caravan merchant and protect them
Caravan merchant:
Assign job: village banner
Shop inventory: literally everything
Secondary function: you can change his armor and weapon
Passive bonus: [single player] will wonder the world/previously loaded chunks and will return with a random amount of emeralds [multiplayer] will wonder the world/previously loaded chunks and players can interact with the merchant all sales made by the merchant will go straight to the village/you except for the sales where you were the buyer
Village chief:
Assign job: village banner
Shop inventory: none
Secondary function: you can change his weapon and armor and he will be able to tell you where each of your villagers are
Passive bonus: will run the village in your absence according to how you want
Lol
End update should do both, new generation and new biomes
7:16 the trash slot in survival would be nice but it could cause a lot of accidents
Double chest boat reminds me if a horse we able to get a chest. It just doesn’t sound fair to the 2 player boat or the donkey in my example.
Bro, this is one of the best “ Minecraft update “ videos I’ve ever seen. These are all actually amazing ideas. Keep it up
i feel like the sophisticated backpack mod is one of the best ways to do a backpack mod because its got a very fair approach to upgrading the backpack like your equipment theres a couple of the upgrades the backpacks don't really need but it would definitely be amazing
Minecraft needs to lean into the wizard or witchcraft, currently the magic we have are potions and enchantments which get pretty boring personally
That would ruin minecraft

Yeah but an update that ambitious would end up being cave and cliffs 2.0
The reason we don't get 'big' or significant updates anymore is because they don't wanna risk ending up in that kind of situation one more time
@@catarinalunar if thats the update I think it would be worth it being in that situation one more time
@@natelederp yeah, I also think so.

I think a barren purple chorus forest with chorus wood would work, and variation of it like a sparse chorus forest, but other then that it should remain barren
The ai update idea was awesome. I feel some personality in mobs would be great
I'd honestly really enjoy an update focused on redstone and minecarts, and implements actual automation.
I got 2 more Updates
The Lifecycle Update
-Villagers travel between villages with camels, horses, donkeys or llamas
-Seasons (Summer: longer daylight and animal ai goes to water more often, Autumn: leafes getting brown and leafes are on the ground, Winter: snow and shorter daylight, Spring: trees getting green leafes and flowers getting special texture,
-Trees falling down and rotting (after some time despawning)
-Sea level rising depending on rain
The Revive Update:
-Adding fireflies
-Reworking the birch forest
-Adding Mobs and Biomes which lost the votes
Minecraft says they are going to make smaller updates again i think they should make one of them giving bee villigers and mooblooms
One of my favorite things to look at in Minecraft when it update is that the combat area its like cool (hard to explain)
i totally agree.. on another note did bro just eat his ass 3:10 💀💀
Steve, Alex, Dirt Dude, and the reader.
i just want more progression

Other things I would like to see:
More foods to make from vanilla items:
Turning milk into cheese or butter, make Apple Pie (apples, wheat, sugar), Berry Pie (berries, wheat, sugar), Chocolate Pie (cocoa beans, milk, sugar, wheat), Chocolate Cake (cocoa beans, milk, egg, sugar, wheat), Burgers or Sandwiches (bread, cooked meat), Vegetable Soup (bowl, water, carrot, potato, beetroot, mushroom), Toast (put bread in a furnace), Jam (bottle, sugar, berries/apple), Juice (bottle, apple/berry/carrot), Chocolate Milk (milk, cocoa beans), Steak and Potatoes Meal (cooked steak, baked potato), pasta (wheat, water)
Adding new seeds and crops for farming (I'd love to grow some rice, grapes, tomatoes, and cabbage, or even add an orange tree and a coconut tree, and add a tree specifically for apples)
The fletching table should literally just be able to let you make more arrows per items.
And maybe some variant arrows too.
End raiding is probably one of my most favourite things to do in minecraft, and especially on hardcore on older versions like 1.12 because:
- it’s very difficult to do it due to its own simplicity.
The Nature Update
1. Will add all 4 seasons
2. Will add new variety of crops
3. A new biome, or a revamp of badlands.
3.more farming equipment
(I think it would make more sense for the enchant to be found in structures and villagets rather than in the enchantment table)
Bonus idea: an enchant for shulkers called Funneling.
About the end update
It will be so cool if new biomes at end spawns only if you defeat ender dragon more than one time
It will give you new resources, new biomes and increase the difficulty of mobs each fight as you said
It cant be like big OP if we have a “wing upgrade” item which allows you to combine chestplate with elytras bc all the mobs will become tougher for example
There should be a mythical update with mythical creatures and Greek mythology.
I think they need to add a self enchantment update. Like where you could power up the player. For example, be able to do more damage from a regular punch, able to carry more storage, or able to jump higher too, like who knows? And then the spells and beacons would just stack on top of tnat
The silksong cope that I need is thinking crowsworn will release soon
They probably never add it but a musket would fit very will. It can shoot gold and iron nuggets. Make the barrels a item that can only be found in the End or some other structure. Crafted with barrel with two iron over a stick and 2 wood.
I'm just waiting for 1.23. it's obviously a pretty lucky number, so maybe we'll get lucky with the "leftovers update" they've been talking about. Maybe "Lucky Leftovers update" since they like alliteration so much.
we need a weather update with better rain, snow, mud etc.
Adding an extra inventory row and increasing the stack limit is a horrible idea
I think an end update would be hard to make well. It needs to stay barren but for it to still be interesting maybe just add a few custom biomes, but minimal new mobs.
tbh i dont think the end needs a massive update, i like the same biome over and over again. Its quite nostalgic too
I think it could be cool if there was a way to move villagers without a boat or minecart.
Honestly it'd be pretty cool if more animals ran away like rabbits instead of just being free food
1:40 the point of the end is for it to be dead. an empty void with no layers. just pure darkness.
Then the end that we have in the game shouldn't have an end islands, cities, obsidian pillars, and mobs.
Your comment is incorrect. The end is not empty, it has layers, and it isn't completely dark. Infact I believe the end is more lit than night time overworld.
There needs to be a balance though?
Watch the next update is gonna be like the desert update or something like that
Great video, I also noticed you asked for some feedback on how to make your videos better, maybe add some jokes in the video to make it more entertaining
They should put elytra into the new ominous vaults in the end ships to give the player more incentive to go to the trial chambers, get the ominous key and then go to the end
3:01 fr these guys are literally brain dead
love the Truman show esque ending
Camman18 be like: MAKE MINECARTS FASTERS
Techbot Gaming be like: Make minecarts faster, please?
Mojang be like: no
I want cattle to travel in herds too because they are a social animal. In real life it’s advices to get 2 or 3 cattle because they can get lonely.
one enderman variant should be one that shoots you and makes the sound of the machinegun you can sometimes hear in the ambient
Hot update,end update,wet update,winter update,new dimension update,sky update,underground update,quality of life/optimisation update,better combat update and sculk dimension update
Maybe they should add some more magic stuff like they’ve been teasing for years
Except Combat and End these all felt like very small things that could fit in other updates
Yeah, like an end update.
I feel like The End must remain as a dark and desolate place, where the very few places of life and culture don't flourish but do clump together in the small area.
Maybe create a brambled chorus fruit forest that looks overgrown and has small spikes you must avoid to not get some kind of withering-esque effect,
Or more detail put into the end cities along with making them larger.
Amazing idea.
4:56 Mace is blatantly better than a sword and literally every tool combined. Thanks to breach, it deals more damage to a player than a maxed sword does, not even mentioning the actual Mace fall accelerated damage, you would need only 5 blocks to take out a maxed player with it
Breach should be able to go on an axe
Since when was minecraft a pvp game
Wrong sword can have sharpness and you need more skill for it
@@N4STD Have you tried to kill someone in netherite armor before?
Mojang needs to hire this man. He has some great ideas
Idk about that 😂 but much appreciated 🙏
Mojang needs to hire any minecraft players
2:04 Yes, if we get an end update we DEFINETLY need to keep the barren vibe. If we can't do that, we shouldn't update in the first place.
The village update you were talking about would completely ruin the feel of minecraft
unsure if theyll ever truly change the combat as the last combat update they did became controversial after its launch
3:10 what were the horses doing xD
I really like how you edit and how you explain in the video really cool very nice
They should add a cave village and a jungle village
i think a biome update in general would be great especialy for the forest
There is so much potential. it freaks me out.
Or in general, make mending weaker so that Armour will eventually break even with it on
Sometimes I just watch videos like this to get ideas to make random ass add-ons on bedrock lol
I hope I don't have to explain why pre-named villagers with text dialogue doesn't fit vanilla minceaft at all...
