I totally understand having an obsession on your psychiatrist/therapist. I learned I have relationship OCD and I’m constantly obsessing on if I can really trust my therapist and questioning if she’s a moral person and bombarding her with questions. But we’ve been working through it and once we agreed for her to not give answers to my relentless questions and have me sit with the anxiety and uncertainty instead, I’ve started to see gradual improvement!
Hey just wanted to say thank you for your videos. I have subscribed for years now and have had ocd for most of my life having officially been diagnosed at 12 y/o in 2009. I had many years of psychology and psychiatry with dozens of professionals. None of whom were trained in ocd therefor had no benefit, but in 2015 i did a 3 week inpatient ERP program that really gave me the hope that i previously didn't have for recovery. I have since done that program 12 more times as well as hundreds of TMS sessions (transcranial magnetic stimulation) and then eventually in late 2018 DBS (deep brain stimulation.) Some of those things helped my other mental health conditions but not my ocd like CBT, DBT, ACT and medication, some didn't work at all like the TMS and some made my ocd worse like the DBS but regardless of all of that it has become clear that whilst ERP hasn't been as successful for me as loads of others i have met via the inpatient program. It is still the best treatment and while i admittedly slack often due to low motivation and as a result relapse with my ocd recovery i always know i can return to that as a treatment considering has been proved to work even with people like me who have a harder time with more typical/common/treatments. So i do really admire you videos and how they spread awareness about ERP as a treatment and also serve a reminder for myself to continue my hard work especially when i am feeling more tempted to ditchERP and resort back to the comfort of rituals. So again thank you for all the information you are providing for people like myself and especially to those who have yet been offered ERP and keep up the good work because its really important what you do, and something i for one really appreciate.
I'm happy to hear that you are managing OCD better now, even though you're still struggling significantly. OCD is such an insidious disorder and you've had such a long journey! However, you're doing the right thing by fighting for your health. Hopefully, something will pop up that will give you more relief! But thanks for your feedback, I'm glad that my videos could be helpful!!
Go to a good islamic peer , you might have jinn possession , jinns put dirty intrusive thoughts in you’re mind .. and try to control you’re brain .. and making u talk to yourself but they actually inside you’re body ..
Can I do ERP by my own? I’ve been practicing and I’ve improved a bit. I have harm Ocd it was worse before but I’m recovering. My old therapist said I had homicidal ideation and I got so scared. I have a new therapist and she said I have Ocd and I just got diagnosed by a psychiatrist who said I have ocd as well.
Are u sure u don’t have jinn possession , they take over the mind by putting in intrusive thoughts (dirty ones ) go to a good peer ..( Islamic ) ruqya works sometimes not all the time ... but a good ( peer) will eradicate the problem forever

Fantastic video! Loved the part about emphasising that all different themes is still simply OCD!

Hey was you on lele pons Instagram video
I don't trust it. You come off as very condescending and disrespectful.
