In the last month, I've ordered an insane amount of new gadgets. WinWing by far blows the others away in terms of shipping. First of all, they ship FedEx and second their shipping prices are cheaper than what the other two charged me. I am getting my Super Taurus tomorrow with my Orion 2 F18 stick and base, as well as the extension. That's only one week from when I ordered it. China to Florida. I ordered this Top Gun MIP yesterday and it shipped out today. Just fantastic. The only thing I think they should do differently is the shipping box really should not have their product pictures. Even though they require signature, I have had both UPS and FedEx steal my package (a laser engraver and 3D printer) and stated the package was signed by someone of the house, even though I was the only one home in both cases. I even had Amazon steal a package and had them on house camera coming down my driveway, stopping, never opened their door, and then left. All three of these instances were due to the sender shipping with images of the contents of the box on the outside box. This is a very bad idea, even though I live in a good area, it's just too tempting for some drivers. I'm taking tomorrow off to be home for my Super Taurus. Can't wait!

Three bezels gives complete cockpit replication for bezel button boxes. One functional screen would allow you to cycle through all the cockpit mfd (clone switch) displays in one screen for those who want to slowly upgrade over time. For VR, DCS limits screen output to the HMD only so buying the screens is not required if you are VR prime. Stay tuned for later video means a follow on video vs later in this video.
Has anyone heard if WinWing are going to make "dumbed down" versions of the F/A-18-UFC Unit1 and F/A-18-HUD Unit1, without the displays and illumination, for 100% VR use?
Are the left and right MFDs physically attached to the UFC so that the whole unit could be mounted on a desk with just the right and left clamps and not the middle clamp?
@@donovanleighton5700 Donovan, the clamping mounts are individual and each component is individual that join together to complete the unit. Leaving off the middle desk mount looks feasable but you may need to add your own joining bar to ensure the entire unit is stable. It is a modular kit so mounting around a center stick desk mount should be an option.
I just bought it. But I had a hard time putting everything together because there's no MANUEL to download on the winwing website. I have had to look up videos of other customers who have figured it out on their own. Please release a guide.

Not good, the way you let the countdown timer go all the way down to zero for pre-order, then cancelled it. I woke up in the middle of the night for nothing. Very poor communication.
The website had huge traffic numbers bottle necking the server. Unlike other preorders from other suppliers, WinWing closes the preorder if stock gets depleted or anticipates production or shipping delays. Because a good portion of the bussiness is international shipping, managing expectations on order fullfilment is a high priotity.

Why wouldn't you be able to? I'm sure they work just fine with vr. Maybe not the mfd tv screens but why would you need those with vr?
There's a specific versions nicknamed the "Pheonix MIP" they have that's specifically made for VR
