Hi Mike, I'm glad you enjoyed this explore of the Machrie Moor Standing Stones. There are a lot of stone circles in Scotland. The Outlander series has brought them to the attention of the general public here in the UK. It sure was awesome to see so many circles and cairn in one location. Visiting the stones is a popular tourist attraction on the Isle of Arran and they're free to visit so that a bonus. Thank you very much for taking time to watch. Have a great week 🙂👍Paul
Thanks for sharing the magic that is Machrie Moor's Standing Stones on the Isle of Arran. What a great vlog during the film. Good research Paul Have just started to hunt down these Stone Circles in our own area and filming them for YT. They do seem to be built with much more care then expected for the time. Wishing everyone success and happiness this week! Have a great weekend from Paul & Kathy in GB 🤝👍😊
This video was something a little different for my channel. The Machrie Moor Standing Stones are a popular tourist spot when visiting the Isle of Arran. I'm glad you enjoyed coming along. It's always great to step back in time and I suspect time hasn't changed the landscape too much on Machrie Moor since the stones were erected. Thank you very much for taking time to watch. Hope you're both having a great weekend 👍🙂Paul
Hi Paul, great explorations and a piece of history of the standing stones today. Beautiful fields and lovely walk. Thank you for sharing this video. Best regards ❤👍✨

Wow Paul these are pretty impressive! Love the Timelapse with the moody skies! Great history and we just love your accent and commentary, so pleasing to our lugs👂 plus great Scottish sounding backing music 🎵 Fingles storey was cool. Derelict farm was interesting with that great dramatic music! The tall one with flint flakes wow. Machrie moor 3 wow 😮 we enjoyed this 👍
Hi Nick n Jill, well the weather was a bit poor so thought let's go visit the Machrie Moor Standing Stones. It'a a popular tourist venue on the Isle of Arran but not so much on this day. I'm glad you enjoyed the explore and my narration. The video was something a little different for me. Thank you very much for watching. Sorry not been around much in the last month, I've been away...again 🙂
Hi Paul, I loved your time-lapse photography - what a fabulous intro! Those stones certainly looked mysterious and magical against the dark cloudy sky. The ruined buildings were very quaint and picturesque. The countryside was so vibrantly green and beautiful. Great to see all the sheep. You didn't have one befriending you this time then? I really enjoyed your storytelling. Fascinating. What a great video! Thank you! 🤗❤
Hi Julie n Lucy, I'm glad you enjoyed this explore of the Machrie Moor Standing Stones. The video was a little different for me. The stones are a fairly popular tourist attraction on the Isle of Arran so I thought I'd check them out while the weather wasn't the best. It was pretty cool seeing so many stone circles and cairns in one spot. The sheep here seemed more interested in other things rather than a hermit, Thank you very much for taking time to watch. Have a great week 🙂👍Paul
I'm glad you enjoyed this explore of the Machrie Moor Standing Stones. The video was something a bit different for me. I should hopefully have a good run on videos now as I have plenty of material to put out there. Thank you very much for watching 🙂👍

Hi Paul. Wow these stones are definitely mysterious. I always want to go back in time to when structures such as these were built, to understand why. I think I need a time machine. The cloudy day when you visited, just added to the mystic of the place as well. Thanks for the wonderful tour! 😊👍
Hi Anita, visiting the Machrie Moor Standing Stones is a popular attraction on the Isle of Arran so figured I'd go check them out. I must admit I do enjoy visiting these types of places. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour and it would have been awesome to see them when they were first built. I bet the countryside around them hasn't changed much in all that time either. Such a cool place with a fascinating back-story. Love your music choice with the drumming:-) Thanks again for takin' us along! Tracy
Hi Tracy, well I have been away on a trip but not a tropical island tho it was super hot whilst there. I'll keep it a secret until the videos come out but be prepared to be amazed ha ha. back from my magical trip and excited to continue yours paul! i am so in love with the stories, like the cauldron ones here. the grass looked extra green against those grey skies. a wee bit of blue here and there though! it adds such a mood. i had to look up cist, even though i understood contextually. never heard the term before. interesting tour, paul! looking forward to the next, my friend! 🛴❤

Well you know I love a good time lapse so it was great to see this one right at the start. It certainly set the mood for this mysterious place. Stone circles are amazing and always draw me in ... perhaps magical powers haha You did a suoer job with the narration & just enough info & stories to hold our interest. I found jt a little demeaning for some of them just being given numbers rather than names but perhaps would be difficult to name them all if hundreds more are eventually unearthed. Obviously built by by some optimistic people expecting sunshine on mid summer's day 🤣 Great video , liked the music 😊
It was a cool spot to check out when the weather wasn't the best. Interesting to see so many stone circles and cairns in one spot. I do like to do a time lapse when I have the chance. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you very much for watching 👍🙂

Nicely edited cinematic intro. Especially the timelapse. Also payed some attention to the intro and the keywords you dropped at the start. That should really help some algorithms. I personally never understood the desire to erect monuments for the dead. They don't care anymore. I like Georgian traditions where cemetaries are a place to gather on certain occasions and to remember the family.
The keyword dropping seems to help but sometimes it takes a wee while to kick in. The visit to the Machrie Moor Standing Stones was a plan B as the weather wasn't great. However it is quite a popular thing to do whilst on the Isle of Arran. It was pretty cool seeing so many stone circles and cairns on one place. Thanks for watching 🙂
