After every new spooky month video I always come back to this, just to see how this goofy cartoon turned into a somewhat emotional series with lore, like the new episode was caused by a ‘prank call’ and episode five was started by giving a piece of candy to a murderer who also did the spooky month dance over the course of around five seconds of screen time like wtf is Pelo cooking.

every god damn thing spooky that shows up here ended up being an enormous plot point in the story, some arcs being incredibly long and arduous (like the eyes of the universe)
Real talk, Pelo displays some pretty great range in this video, considering he was Lila's voice--that "Oh, you're right! Here you go!" was actually pretty convincing.
