Thanks for sharing! Just wondering the containers have to be air tight? I got one from the dollar store but it doesn’t seem to seal well. Wondering is that will work.
put a piece of waxed paper or plastic wrap across the top before closing the lid, making sure some extends pass all sides before closing. That may help.
Yes, you don't want air getting in or they will get moldy.
Are the kids taking the sponge out of the container to use or just poking the sponge to get glue on their finger to use?
Sponge stays in the container. Students tap whatever they need glue on onto the glue sponge. Fingers do not touch the glue sponge.
Any luck finding the same containers? Also do you have a skew number for them? Tried looking online
I don't have the skew numbers. But you can go to any The Container Store or check TJMaxx/Homegoods for different options.

Yes, you can resuse the containers year after year!
A good idea but to take nearly 5 minutes to tell you where to get sponges and containers, is far too much talk!
