I've critical of some of the mods you have done over the years and hated some of them. But, I'm truly sorry both of you are going thru this. Maybe time away can change things and you both of you can work it out. You never know. It happened to me last year with the wife. I moved out, we worked on it, and 11 months later I moved home. Its been a year this month since I moved back in.
Today, driving back home from work , listening to all the christmass songs on the radio, I was thinking about you and that christmass this year is difficult for you 😪. But hope you hang in there! Better days certainly comes for you! 🙏🏻👊🏻
Yes but it’s in Pittsburgh. The weather is miserable like I would say for Sweden it’s like Gothenburg Sweden. Cold in winter, cloudy, overcast and raining in summer. It’s definitely no Florida or great it could be living in Sunshine states.
Wall art will come in time. I like to live in a space for awhile before hanging pictures. My advice is to take your time and settle in for a few months. You're definitely off to a good start with what you've bought so far.

Spin coffee table 90° for a better fit? And check out Felt Right, they make felt stick on panels of different/cool patterns. No first had experience but they look pretty sweet and I think they would soften the sound too.

It's a very nice apartment. You're lucky to live there now and not back in the 50s 60s and 70s because that view would've been nothing but smoke. But now it's beautiful.

I'm sorry for your situation, but I think you'll be ok. Pretty sweet apartment! I collect vintage car advertisements that I frame myself. It's a hobby. Some of those and a few vintage Le Mans or other black and white racing prints would really be pretty cool. Best of luck!
Take 3 of your favorite cars, have enlarged or preferably printed on glass and arrange them on the wall. I think that is the most fitting answer given your passion for cars.
Get 3 or 4 big metal prints of your favorite cars you’ve had. In black and white would look sweet!! I’m a photographer, so let me know if you need help printing them!

I use Google photos and the print features through that app to create my own canvas prints from my own pictures. It's not the cheapest option but they come framed and ready to hang. Hope this helps.

I have one of those coffee tables & it folds flat. Nice view of Ft Pitt. Lived in the city about 65 yrs ago....things havechanged alot. Do they still have the "inclines"? I remember them from my childhood?
You should do an ad integration with Displate. They have car stuff and pop culture thungs in varying sizes you can hang up. Worth a shot since I think they'll send y o u a couple of pieces to hang up to show the product off. Another thing is a comoany that makes wooden race tracks. Emelia Hartford has them in her house. But they have Spa, Silverstone, Nurburgring, Maranello, etc. They are pretty big and will fill out a good section, combined with the Displate stuff

Mrs Wizard has been making art with old car parts engine parts , actually quite cool ,it might give you inspiration . Collect few 1/18 scale model cars. Maybe your previous cars and put those on your big wall. Few little shelves and models.
