Loved Universe, i like all 3 of the Series but Uni took it for me after a while and was Royally pissed when it went away!! Elyse really grew through the show and her time on Destiny I loved her progression as much as Rush. Keep it up David great as always. Peace nd Love.
this is what i think the cosmic background radiation was. and i have written about this a few other times in better detail than here, but for the sake of telling you what that was in my opinion. essentially the alterans didn't know what it was at the time, but later on in the show in the present day they end up finding an solar system that came into existence with no idea how it came into existence. ///////////// this next part is my opinion given what we know and understand of the lore. long story short this background radiation was an intelligence that has the ability to create entire solar systems, which is created by an higher plane of existence ascended being. it is explained within the lore of the show, that there are many ranks of existence that exist within the Ascended realm, however none of the OTHERS of both the Ascended Alteran or the Ascended Ori reached this plane of existence, which means even though they were powerful, there was an even greater power than they ended up being. the Ori were getting to that point by making the lower plains worship them, while the Ascended Alteran were wasting everyone's time, except for the Ascended beings, Oma, Orln, Morgan, Merlin, where the only ones within the Ascended ranks trying to gain power through numbers, not worshippers, Merlin gave up his ascension and sacrificed his life to save the OTHERS even if they didn't return his favor as they sent Morgan to destroy him, but Morgan was smart and realized that Merlin could aid them in the future if needs be. i'm sure there are many other Ascended beings that Oma Orlin Morgan and even Merlin inspired to follow their guidance within the Ascended realm. helping more to ascend like Oma did for them. but the OTHERS didn't like this, so they threw a curveball Oma's way with Anubis to make her an example of what they didn't want her to do or get away with doing. and this may have stopped her ascended followers from making any ground because this rule was enforced by the OTHERS to not interfere with the lower planes, even when it came down to Ascension. i think Oma was trying to steer her followers into a direction of becoming just as powerful as the OTHERS if not more, to make change for the possible war with the Ori, and this was perhaps when Merlin decided to descend himself for an plan B of creating an weapon into destroying ascended beings. i think the OTHERS are cowards when it comes to action, they are not all seeing or all knowing. and there are even higher planes of existence that they could obtain, but i think they were afraid and i think they liked having all this power over the other ascended beings. maybe there were other motives that we didn't know about, but i don't know what possible motives they could have, as it wasn't at all noble to let anyone die without ascending after death. this seems very selfish and authoritarian and cold when ppl within their own ranks were only trying to save ppl by helping them ascend. but as i said, maybe there is more to it than what i just stated. i just like writing it out and thinking on what possible motives could exist. maybe someone else out there has a better idea.....
SGU is all i ever really talk about. but much of the audience is against it. so it might have to be some kind of clip series that takes from everything and involves the story in all areas so it's not just one show that a lot of ppl didn't like but also not only just what they want in the show and every now and then showing what's going on the destiny. i wish i could say the best way to approach this idea in what's best for all fans to embrace it.
She was one of the youngest of the cast. If she was 20-25 years old in Universe then she is 30-35 years old now. I checked now and she is 35 according to IMDB as she was born in 1985.
