The difference is that "at least" is right while atleast is incorrect. At least consists of a conjunction 'at' that indicates bare minimum availability of something. At least is correct - they are two words, and cannot be joined. Atleast is just like alot, they don't have any existence in the language.

Language is one the highest barrier between people. Once you speak the language of a person from a different culture, s/he automatically opens up to you. That’s even more evident with minorities who appreciate that someone took the time to learn their languages.

So...we are from the Land...and we had an eye appt. in the Burbs, and there was some Chinese ladies talking sideways, until my Sun spoke to her in Mandarin...their "jokes" stopped rather quickly...lol. Thx to Cleveland Heights schools

And we speak Japanese at home..and French...and Spanish...but I want to learn Yoruba and Swahili

That’s like what everyone imagines when they learn a language, someone talking shit thinking you can’t understand it, until you spit back in their language. That’s great, I really wish I could speak more languages. I only speak a little bit of Spanish, but my Nonna and Nonno immigrated from Italy in ‘65 and I really wish I could speak with them.

@@iciecube I started to watch kdramas and kpop in 2014 and I kept watching korean stuff and it is really important to talk another korean people in an app or Skype but I didn't know that I was fluent until I went to korea in 2016 and I only spoke korean there like I made a lot of friends there too soo that's when I realized that I'm fluent in korean

17:15 That's the problem sometimes, you can't spot certain nationalities from looks alone like you can Chinese, Japanese, Korean or some places in Africa etc., unless they talk in their language or wear something hinting to their nationality. I bet a lot more opportunities for these nationalities like German slip by, simply because they don't look any different than your average American.
It's too bad the Hmong woman didn't really wanna have a conversation with you. If you want to practice Hmong, come to the twin cities in Minnesota! Minnesota has the largest population of the Hmong in the United States. It's also extremely diverse. Great video.
