Laoshu is the reason why I have recently made the decision to strengthen my Spanish. I have been coasting on what I learned from school, but he is the proof that you don't need school to learn languages. This time next year I hope to be way more fluent in Spanish than I am today.

I learned some Espanol on the computer and then practiced what I learned with my customers and coworkers and learned a heck of alot more. Years later at a job interview one of the managers interviewing me spoke to me in Spanish and I replied back in Spanish and he was blown away saying I had all the pronounciation like I was from there, honestly that part really made me remember those times where my customers helped me learn the language. Its so cool to learn languages

I think Mouse is a perfect name. To me it means "Greatness can come from small and unexpected places". In all these videos, people never expect this handsome black man to start speaking their languages, much less smaller dialects, and it always puts a smile on their face. Everyone is always so appreciative that someone would take the time and passion to learn their languages. Even a mouse can show love, compassion, and teach you something valuable. RIP Laoshu. Hi, there. They were not actually speaking Indonesian with Bataknese dialect. They were speaking Indonesian that we (Indonesians) use in our daily basis. The woman, however, explains that she comes from Batak where people there have a certain dialect. Hope it helps.
Obviously everyone knows the backstory too why Moses is named mouse but some foreigners might not. His name is supposed to be meaningfully ironic. A name that is meek but a man that is great (in knowledge and height). Besides, a native English speaker who converses with others in their tongue is a sign of humility that is lost to western culture (mostly because we aren’t that smart lol). Mouse is a fitting name in my opinion and a perfect interest catcher.
