Great video of a real world job. Good to see its not just me that struggles getting a rusty exhaust off. I would be smearing copper grease on the threads of the clamp though ;) Cause the exhaust never seem to last long!
I fitted my new golf exhaust last week, still have the bruises to show for it. I took the cross member off to help with access to the bas#*rd clamp 😂 filming is somewhat more complicated under the vehicle.

if you use crappy exhaust rubbers the back box sags down and the exhaust bangs off the rear axle ,
Yeah I think using the original rubbers was the right choice.
