Volkswagen Golf mk 2 exhaust muffler replacement

fitting a new steel exhaust ( not stainless ) to my 1992 Golf mk2 1800 automatic with a GU engine.
removal and fitting took me about 4 hours. it would have been so much quicker if i had access t a lift. i only had drive up ramps but it gave enough room to work with.
not a difficult job, just a dirty one. cost for everything excluding exhaust paste £163 on 25/5/22
new exhaust is beautifully quiet, no more waking up the neighborhood first ting in the morning.
