    *** PLEASE NOTE 05:22-05:53 On OEM headers this modification is not necessary. The kit comes with an adapter to fit the Jetex on the OEM exhaust. My Golf has non-OEM headers that prevented the JETEX from fitting.
    STICKERS:
    In today's episode I'm installing a half stainless exhaust system manufactured by Jetex Exhausts.
    My Dad's BMW F12 640i gets a new HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) in order to solve his stumbly and limp mode gremlins.
    Lastly my Saab 900 recieves a new clutch.

    Really like your Golf. It reminds me just how good these cars were in thier day. I might have to get one for myself one day. Your dads BMW also reminds me why I hate modern cars. Way too complex and way too much plastic on the engines. I know, I'm a grumpy old git but I miss the days of being able to repair rather than having to buy a big lump of car because one small part has worn or broken.

But if you’re an idiot for taking the whole assembly off, I must be an amoeba 😜. And the Saab’s coming along nicely. I really hope this channel will give you everything you want. When you resurface a plate similar to a rotor, there are tolerances thats why there are a few heat spots left on it otherwise it would be undersize and you would need to get a new one... Great job on Dad's BMW.. He is blessed to have a mechanic in the family .... Now go burn up the clutch...

  • @djdoo
    @djdoo ปีที่แล้ว

    Cheers from Greece! It is really strange to see a US spec VW Golf in Europe with those huge bumpers and the word Rabbit at the rear with a little rabbit as a logo! It is so cute and funny.
    The BMW is really huge and although it looks like a spaceship I don't like it at all. Way too complex and expensive and you are so disconnected from the mechanical parts when driving it that looses all the fun and adventure no matter the horsepower.
    The SAAB is unique and I am really glad that you show details and views of the repair procedures of all of the cars and explain step by step! Helps a lot us in our poor European corner that we are doomed to deal with old junk cars in order to move from A to B place and need repairs all the time. No money for brand new cars for most of us here.
    Keep up and good luck with merch...

    Helemaal oke zo,n langere episode !!! Mooie collage van verschillende klussen en stuk voor boeiend om te zien. Golf ziet en hoort er weer helemaal bij en wat is het toch een mooie auto ! Remmen BMW was haast een simpele klus vergeleken met de hogedrukpomp... wat zit die op een bijna onwerkbare plek, maar je hebt de klus geklaard en de BMW is weer uptodate ! En last but not least de SAAB, blijft voor mij een echte klassieker en die nieuwe koppeling maakt een wereld van verschil ! Nu heeft ook veel meer zin om verder aan deze klassieker te werken. Ben benieuwd hoe deze aan het einde van het project eruit gat zien. Tot later zullen we maar zeggen !!

    You should use exhaust paste on joints where are not used any gaskets. It will hold when new, but starts to leak when expands by heat and metal rust.
