@@NERDPotioni mean, they can't be opened from the inside lol. For whatever reason, hopetech and taiyo armory have a single cell in their armory. Makes for nice RP on a small bounty hunter ship.
I want that ship :) Hopefully, the developers will allow us to Import and Export ships in the near future.

Great stuff! I enjoy myself an evening kicking back on the couch and just build cool ships. But I also for the life of me cannot get the backside more dynamic on bigger ships. I've tried rebuilding the Va'Ruun Hymn to my own liking, but damn.
I think if you/we take inspiration from the Kepler R ship for example, which is a pretty big ship, but it has the engines sticking out the back in a certain way and makes it look better imo. I'll take the Kepler S over the R in terms of design though.
I find it helps to build an outrigger to make it into two smaller rear pieces. I prefer the hopetech tunnel piece

i get that and agree but this was a ship i made and my stream told me to cover it so i did my best :P
"Brakeing parts" dont exist. Structural parts are purely structural and have zero impact on how a ship handles. I know this is a 2 month old video, but this is a great build so i figured id dispell some misinformation for anyone using it
5 minutes in and it's kind of funny that you are saying the brig has a lot of living quarters in it lol. Great build though! I also want to build a big ship but I need a higher Ship Design skill and watch more videos of how to make the interior not a maze.

at this time i do not remember the name but I remember i got it during the UC main quest. the one about getting rid of xenomorphs. when you have to convince the other leaders to agree to the idea during the story, and you go underground where its all overgrown and talk to / save the one leader of the snake ppl, he has it in his room somewhere.
Building a giant ship is not worth it tbh you should build a B class size ship but equip it with C class reactor so you can get the best weapons
i get that but all my builds are simply for aesthetic purposes, i never take the time to min max anything
this is no where near the biggest ship possible.... so say a borg cube....
welp seeing how I am unable to add any more parts nor can i build to any side, back front or top, bc it says its exceeding the limit, that kinda defines largest possible, outside of mods XD
Hate hate hate the interior layout. Theres ways to make the interoir orderly with spine pieces and whatnot. This build does none of that, the placement of habs makes no sense, living quarters behind the bridge/cockpit?? Idk i like my ships layout to make sense, not a smashed together mismatch of random habs that randomly connect to one another... but ig it looks neat on the outside.....
