    Over 200 CT70’s? Dam I thought I had an addiction with these at about a dozen. I sold them all about 10 years ago and the bug bit me again recently. I can’t believe how hard they are to find and the price. So I just got my Icebear in last week (from Motobuys) and it is better than I expected. Any Honda part fits, ran great right out of the crate, and it was at my garage door in 8 days. I feel like a kid again! What a fun hobby! Keep up the great videos Mike!

    Looking forward to seeing the different stats. Also interested to know how you cut the catalytic converter thing out and put it all back together. Wonder if you would stick with that car or go with a better carb when you're done. Loving the videos

      The piece I cut out of the exhaust measured 5” in length. So, I cut a 5” length of 1”od round tube and welded it back together. I’ll be sticking with the Molkt carb. I’ve used them for a few years. Great carb for the price.

    Hey Mike, Thanks so much for posting all this. I've got a quick question, the top of my kickstarter rubs on the muffler but I see yours seems to have the proper clearance that at least I feel it should have. Did you make a mod for that or just get lucky on the fit of yours? Thanks

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No mods, I guess the kicker and exhaust I used are just a good fit for each other.

    Great vid series…I ordered an icebear from Cajun MDs after watching your mods and progress…how does the Molkt carb perform in the low-mid range? Thx!

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m pretty happy with the full range of performance from the Molkt. But, after seeing everyone on FB rave about a Nibbi carb, I bought one and I’m thinking I like it better than the Molkt.

      @@MiniBikeMike thx for the response…did you go with the 24mm or 26mm nibbi….my bike is coming early Nov so I’m collecting hop up parts 🤣

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      24mm with the flange to bolt directly to intake.

    You seem to have a lot of knowledge on these great little bikes, where do you get the ice bear wheels for the tire swap? I'm in need of the rims, front hub & rotor, but I can't find them anywhere. Part's seem to be very scarce. I've found after market, over sized wheels, but can't find the original style. Do you know of any part's suppliers for these? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 👍

    Can you recommend a brake caliper/master cylinder upgrade that will fit the Icebear champion? Thank you

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry, I can’t. I actually took the caliper setup off my Champion and went with the old school drum setup.

    I will be receiving my little bike day after tomorrow. I have been told to take the heel/toe shifter off and replace. Where did you get the one on this bike?

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not at the bike now, but looking at the video, it looks like the shifter you get when you buy a Lifan engine. I have boxes of shifters and kickstarters I’ve collected over the years. I may also have just cut the heal part off the shifter, I’ve been known to do that also.

    What you cut out was a federally mandated spark arrestor it is not a converter

    Curious what goosneck/intake did you use with that Molkt carb?

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I could have used the stock intake, but I had a similar one laying on the shelf. No clue what brand it is, probably came with a carb I bought on Amazon.

    Does the icebear have reserve fuel flow? Or only on.

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has both, but the petcock is mounted too high. I unbolted it and let it lay closer to the engine. In the stock position, fuel wouldn’t flow past half tank.

    • @FSEVENMAN
      @FSEVENMAN 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, the fuel valve has 3 settings.
      Off
      On
      Reserve.😊

    hey everyone,these use the same exhaust as an st 90 right?all these trails are the same with mufflers right?what choices do i have for an st90?

    • @MiniBikeMike
      @MiniBikeMike  ปีที่แล้ว

      The ST90 frame and CT70 frame are similar, but not identical. Their engines are completely different and don’t share any parts. I believe the exhaust port on the ST90 is bigger and CT70 exhaust doesn’t bolt up correctly……but, I may be wrong.
